My 2 Cents on a few Upcoming Matches. Abraham Vs. Murray. Murray to date has no great win over anyone, he survived against GGG for a lot longer than most fighters do, GGG had him hurt and took the gas off and toyed with him to give the audience in Monaco a show, he deserved the draw against Sturm that wasn't a robbery, you could even say Sturm edged it, Martinez he lost to by 1 point on my card, at best he had a draw, and that was against a shot Sergio with no legs and in the rain, Sergio managed to hurt him in the last round even with his injuries. He lost against Khomitsky in the rematch and was given a gift, and probably lost in the first fight as well, Khomitsky put him down hard in that one according to reports. Murray is a glorified punching bag with a lot of grit who does just enough to look competitive but never does nearly enough to win decisively. AA while he's seen better days, his wins this year over Paul Smith and Stieglitz in their fourth fight are better than any win Murray has in his career as sad as that is. AA hits hard enough to make Murray shell up, and who knows how well he'll take a punch at SMW, especially after GGG worked him over earlier this year. AA is better at everything than Murray and will most likely beat him with relative ease, and since its in Germany I have a hard time seeing MM get a gift, and I could even possibly see AA getting a stoppage win, because if he gets Murray hurt he'll finish him off, because he doesn't have the same luxury GGG has of doing it anytime he wants.
Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam vs. Avtandil Khurtsidze II N'Dam won their first fight but it was close and Avtandil had him hurt in the last round, Avtandil is essentially a shorter, lighter punching David Lemieux, their first fight took place before Hassan's merciless beatings at the hands of Quillin and Lemieux, so who's to know how much he has left in his tank, Avtandil might be catching him at the right time, after all the first fight was close sans KD's, if Khurtsidze can drop him once or twice he might be able to edge it this time in a SD.

Takashi Miura vs. Francisco Vargas This truly is a pick em fight that should split the league right up the middle. Vargas is a merciless fighter who never stops coming and he's got some skill, however his power is vastly overrated he couldn't stop Abner Cotto, Jerry Belmontes which says a lot, Vargas has also never been in with a massive puncher, so who knows how he'll fair against someone like Miura. Granted Miura was stopped once and it was by his corner, but against freaking Uchiyama who'd probably stop Vargas as well, but Miura to date is the only guy to ever drop Uchiyama, and a ton of other guys he's fought as well, many of whom have decent chins, Miura can be a one trick pony waiting for a big left at times, but thanks to Vargas' aggressive tendencies he'll have ample opportunities to land his favorite punch.
James DeGale Vs Lucian Bute. While Degale is the younger and the fresher of the two, Degale has a tendency to gas and gas badly, Degale wasn't robbed in the Groves match it should have been a draw, and he didn't have the power to put Groves down yet Froch did and had him badly hurt in the first, just like he did with Bute. Yet Bute never left his feet all the while he was taking a horrendous beating, Bute's chin isn't as bad as most make it out to be. Yet Degale's while taking Groves power (so did Jack) and Dirrell's (so have many) we've yet to see it tested against a really big puncher, I think Bute may be the biggest puncher he's been in there with, and Bute who is a vicious body puncher when he wants to be, if he can survive to the last 6 rounds he has a legit chance here, maybe even by stoppage, Degale has a terrible gas tank and was lucky as hell he dropped Dirrell twice early otherwise that match rightfully would have been a draw. Don't write Bute off in this one.
Amir Imam Vs. Adrian Granados Granados gave Felix Diaz and Brad Solomon everything they could handle and he's never been cleanly beaten, he has a good chin and is bigger than many of Imam more recent opponents, Imam's power isn't that impressive, he didn't hurt Castillo nearly as bad as Obara did, and Imam's chin is definitely questionable, so an upset isn't out of the question here, if he takes it it'll probably be early and by KO, but the longer it goes the more it faors Imam, but Granados is a live underdog here.
