I keep seeing Porpramook vs. Taconing as being scheduled for May 5th.

But some articles at the scene indicate that it is literally happening sometime within a few hours of this post.

They already weighed in, Porpramook at 108 and Taconing at 107. So, I guess the result should be up shortly. No RBR = No FUN.

    EDIT:

Boxrec lists the result, with Porpramook the winner by Tech. Decision in 5. The scores show: 47-47, 48-46, and 50-45.

Taconing was robbed! He was on the verge of stopping the champ until they stopped the fight from a cut caused by an accidental headbutt earlier in the fight. Taconing was even deducted a point, and the cut wasn't even that bad, the champ could definitely have continued. I'm gonna keep watch of Taconing, he's a good prospect even with this "loss"

It wasn't because of the cut/headbutt. That occurred in Round 4, the deduction was made in the very last round, Round 5. The ref, without any warning, deducted a point from Taconing as he was going for the kill, for apparently leading with his head. Watch the homecooking for yourself, my scorecard after 5 rounds was 48-46 for Taconing.

    Round 1: 10-9 JT
    Round 2: 10-9 KP
    Round 3: 10-9 JT
    Round 4: 10-9 JT
    Round 5: 9-9
