Kim' original opponent was Ali Rahimov, a VERY good boxer who had the misfortune of having his coming-out party on the same undercard (of Provodnikov vs. Corley) that produced a major tragedy in the sport recently, with the death of Roman Simakov at the hands of Sergey Kovalev - which rightfully overshadowed everything else that happened in Russia that day. His highly impressive and dominant performance against unbeaten Thai banger Saddam Kietyongyuth earned him a trip to the United States to very probably school the **** out of Ji Hoon Kim and grow himself an American/international fanbase. Then for some ****ed up reason (visas, I think) he was yanked from the card and now Kim is in with Yakubu Amidu. ...and NOW, the main event of Provodnikov vs. Diaz (which wasn't half as enticing as Rahimov vs. Kim, but still worth checking out) is apparently scuttled with Ruslan also facing a replacement. This card went from tantalizing to ****ing pathetic in just a few weeks.
Yes! **** boxing. Biggest cocktease of all sports. **** like this always happens. Great cards constantly turn mediocre or worse for dumb reasons. (someone can't get a visa, promoters can't come to terms, overtraining results in an injury, etc)

*SCHEDULE CHANGES* * Ruslan fighting Torres, not Diaz * Kirkland and Morales fights taken off * Kim vs amidu added
And after all this bitchin and crying you'll still watch FNF on Friday I'll bet you. See you in the RBR IB. I like Amidu-Kim still. Good fight. But Rahimov would have been better I agree. Not good but oh well. Provodnikov-Diaz was a pretty close fight that had me excited. They they replace Diaz with this BUM Torres who Diaz KO'd??? That pisses me off more then Kim-Rahimov being cancelled. Admit it, We all get angry about something that happens in boxing every week, Say we are done with it. But we never give up and quit watching. You say " **** boxing " now. But come Saturday you'll be watching fights from god knows where around the world.
Kirk how about this: 1/28 - Rakhim Chakhkiev Vs. Alexander Kotloblay - WBC Baltic Crusierweight title ( What the... )
And 1/28 Cory Spinks - Sechew Powell - IBF Light Middleweight Eliminator (What is it with Cory Spinks and IBF? Or maybe more precise: Don King and IBF?)
