Every time I see "Kokietgym" it gets me excited thinking my boy Terdsak is in action. :sad2 Nothing against Singwancha, who's probably a deal better p4p, but I'm more partial to Jandaeng. Dude's a warrior. ****ing Thai sellout naming conventions.
Singwancha a ****ing phenom though. Racking up some big wins at the lately and probably the top super flyweight in the world and that includes Navarez and Soto. :bbb
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa. You wanna rate him over Sato and his countryman Chokchai, fair enough. #2 with a bullet. Over El Huracan? :blood Let's bear in mind that the performance against Donaire was in no way reflective of Narvaez's remaining abilities. It was a saddening and shameful display of money-grabbing, but it absolutely didn't tell anything about what the man's got left at super fly. His last couple of defenses there weren't as dominant as in the past, and part of that is probably due to age gradually taking its toll (something it would have done long before now to a lesser man, in this weight range) but also due to the fact that some of his challengers - particularly Seda. who did best against him - have actually been pretty respectable. I think Narvaez is still operating at a high enough level to be called the clear kingpin, which he should demonstrated in a couple of months by schooling the solid B-level Goofy Montes, and would pick him with some confidence over Sato and either Thai, even in their respective Asian nests. Of course, he doesn't leave home unless it's for millions of bucks, so moot point. Of course if they went there it would be a wide UD for him and there'd be grumbling about home-cooking, although it wouldn't be. (not that Argentina doesn't have somewhat of a deserved reputation, what with Lazarte..)
And, my original point was just that Terdsak is more fun to watch, which he is. (and his name's more fun to pronounce). I readily acknowledged from the jump that Tepparith is the classier boxer.
If Tepparith went to Argentina to fight him he probably better hope he gets beat by a wide UD for his own personal safety I feel at Super Flyweight however Tepparith last 3 victories over Drian Franisico, Daiki Kameda and Tomonobu Shimizu are better than anything Navarez has achieved in the division. Seda is the only impressive name at Super Flyweight I see on Omar Navarez's resume, so I rank TS top of the division and his record will look even more impressive if he can add Nashiro's name to it. Then lets beat the drums for a Tepparith- Rungvisai rematch :bbb
Tepparith Kokietgym UD Felix Sturm UD Moruti Mthalane TKO Serhiy Dzinziruk UD Gennady Golovkin TKO Roberto Domingo Sosa TKO Nkosinathi Joyi UD
See, it's going to be 11pm for me (beer-and-boxing 'o'clock) and far more convenient than going out of my way to hunt down the SportItalia card of more or less equal relevance in the middle of the workday. So, different strokes... :yep
Damn timezones... I say we get rid of them and all use the same (GMT) standard. People have to get used to work when it's dark and sleep when it's light out in other parts of the World. :bart
:happy Or, you know, our workday in the US could be renamed "2-10pm" instead of 9-5. A semantic change seems a bit easier to implement than a full lifestyle shakedown.
