Wow.... Herrera wins the decision.... Kinda shocked actually, felt Ruslan did more then enough to win the fight, but it was closely contested throughout and I have nothing but respect to both of these warriors. I gotta say though I did score it for Ruslan 7 rounds to 5.
Co-sign with Kirk. It was a ***** to score. I still stand on Ruslan being jobbed here, but Im sure there will be a rematch down the road. **** was an EXPLOSIVE fight. I wished I would've seen more uppercuts mixed in his counter shots from Provodnikov...he could've caught Herrera in the middle of a feint.
Also, the other thing that is shocking to me a bit is, wouldnt you think that if anyone was going to get the call in a close fight, it would be the undefeated Ruslan who has a decent chance at making a good name for himself as he climbs the ranks?
Well, anyways, bad decision (imo) but it shouldnt take away from the toughness both these guys put on tonight. Glad I tuned in to this fight. Hope to see more from both these guys in the future, maybe a rematch.

That's what I thought when I heard the scores I thought well obviously this is going to go to Ruslan Pro...woah ****, Herrera got it. Good for Herrera though, he got robbed on ShoBox and he won a close fight against Provodnikov. It was a ***** to score the fight, I had it 115-114 Provodnikov. The last round I gave both fighters that round both showed heart, determination and both had their moments.
Man I really admire the thought and time you put into this. Keep it up champ or I'll sue you:thumbsup I cant but respect these two. It's true what Kellerman says that this is one of the most anticipated match ups in boxing. And you can't but have respect for the fighters and their promoters for making it happen. We've seen sooo many possible big fights fall apart lately.. Pacquiao/Mayweather x 3, K2/Haye x 3, Cotto/Martinez (I'm really mad at the Mayorga fight which makes zero sense imo. Absolutely nonesense) etc. It's starting to take its toll on the sport that the best wont fight the best. Mad respect to Alexander and Bradley. Hope they put on a show, as they both look ready and very businesslike. Would be great if the winner goes on to fight Khan in the summer or later this year.
