truth be told neither had I until I researched the history of the division. I was amazed that someone as accomplished as Jeannette was not more commonly spoke of. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying he's the goat or anything, but to beat every leading contender and champion of your era (altho he lost a hell of a lot of newspaper decisions to langford) is mightily impressive. the story about his fight with Mcvea should really be stuff of legend, to survive 27 knockdowns and win with a 49th round knockout! **** me lol amazing.
Lotta upsets lately, that's true, but I'm not gonna sit down and watch Mosley turned into a Roach for a 20% chance of a spectacular Shane KO. Watched his last two fights and I think he's getting brain damage.
