I gotta say though, for shits and giggles, I've been watching ESPN Deportes and that is my new favorite channel now. They show a hell of a lot of Football (Soccer), but then Boxing gets a lot of love and then a little bit of Baseball, Basketball, etc.

I don't understand really most of it, but it's just a good feeling to turn on the TV and people are talking boxing.

Sorry bro, I think I misunderstood you. I thought by "need some upset action, I'm taking Nick Blackwell" you meant you need some upset action and take Nick Blackwell.

In other news: my armchair is about to collapse so sorry if I'll be off for a couple of days, you know the regular morphine treatment for concussion.

Im kinda sad today. Ouma was stopped yesterday in a fight it looked like he was being competetive in, and its clear that Ouma has (and for long awhile now) fallen into a place in the sport where his only real ability will be to see just how much he can push rising prospects while he takes beatings.

I really, really hope that he retires soon. I dont want to see him take anymore needless punishment in the ring. Just imo.

Ouma fought like a warrior but considering his background I don't envision he has any qualms about taking a few more beatings providing he gets paid well.

Alright guys, I had a pretty weird dream last night.....

Pretty much it went like, I was visiting nicaruaga, having a vacation and enjoying everything when I see Ricardo Mayorga, but he was like, 10 years older then he is now. He wasnt an old old man or anything, but he was older then he is now, and a little skinnier. You could tell he was no longer a fighter. So I got an interpreter to go with me and I went up to him, and I started telling him how he had been one of my fav fighters of all time, that I admire the courage he showed in the Tito fight and all this stuff. We then talked for a long time, then he asks me if I want to go to a celebration they were having in a nearby town. I said sure, on the way there I found out that he had a disease in his liver or kidney or something like that, and he could die from it, and I got sad lol.... so then we get there and there was this huge celebration with lots of drinking which Mayorga did a lot of and it was a good time. But I had to go.

He then tells me he will fight in the ring one more time, to reclaim some lost glory and luster and to send his fans off with a win he says, and as he is shadow boxing the air, it was slow and labored, like an old man.... we said our goodbyes and I left.

Then the next dream yesterday, I was on a tour bus that had winky wright and ODLH on it. They were talking about a fight, and it said 'Squash Judah' on the roof of it. I have no clue why

But then later Im with my friend as we are driving to the airport, and we pass by this huge crowd at an outside boxing event..... this place had different rings, one main one in the center where Ali was fighting somebody, and it had a lot of people surrounding it.... then off to the side there was a smaller ring with Foreman fighting someone at the same time the other fight was going on, and it had some people around it too....

anyways, there was some other stuff but its just funny.... lol... hadnt had a dream about boxing for a long time.

    Pointless, and random...

Im sure he doesnt but as a fan of him, not just as a fighter but as a person, I hope the people around him talk some sense into him. Hes got almost no defence at all, and these punches could very well take their toll on him if he keeps this up for years to come.

Haha, I love boxing dreams even though they often tricked me by me watching my favorites winning only to wake up and see them lose. Happened like a dozen times. What I don't remember is my guy winning both versions.

I agree, I just think a guy with his background is always gonna fight. A guy with his background will have a demon inside him that he might never defeat.

For me personally I hate to see guys take beatings when just a couple of year previous they'd have whipped them. Not just with jones and holyfield atm but all fighters of that level who've given their all to the sport. I fear mosley will be next, I think he's gonna take some beatings in the near future. Spinks getting smacked around by bundrage was sad.

I did, but not confident in the pick. I'm more than likely going to lose the fight. No need for me to lose money on top of that as well.
