    I guess I was pretty off on my view on where Lujan was at the moment....


    On a side note, I actually got to see Lujan fight live, it was when he fought Castillejo, so was kind of bitter sweet...

    Did you watch the vids, Kirk?

    That fight seems like it'd be right up your alley...particularly the persistence of Lujan. In a big hole early, looking like he was going to be widely outpointed...he just gritted his teeth and battled his way back into it, picking up three straight 10-8 rounds while just pulverizing the young gun. Just a classic separate-the-men-from-boys match. Reading back through the RBR, I'd forgotten what a fun night of boxing that was. Easily one of 2011's best.

    It was exactly the kind of fight I like (I cant imagine anyone not liking it however lol)

    Lujan looked to be in for a bad night early on :lol: But he showed exactly the type of hardness (no homo) and grit that I love and just overcame the younger fighter. Awesome.

    I had been good underway with the bets, but my old laptop died last month as did the update i'd been doing. IMO the most humane thing left to do is to give everyone like 100 Kirk Dollars (KD)and just go from there. I'm not going back 300 pages again to start over:barf

    Also next year I think we should probably start from scratch with an equal number of KD, that way it'll be more exciting to see who'll end up the money man on the year.

    Concrats for winning the title this year BB. You wont be the Kirk Champ though. Already carved my name into that belt.
