I think it kind of depends on the situation and who's involved, how far along they are etc. - but in general agree with you. :good I'd have liked both Gamboa-Lopez and Angulo-Kirkland a good long time ago. There's nothing like young unbeaten guys putting it all on the line for all the glory before they . The risk is losing your zero and your momentum, but the reward is laying claim to ALL the combined buzz surrounding both you and your opponent. (and serious credibility as you graduate from prospectiveness to contention).
I remember when both Bradley and Alexander were buzzing.... I wanted them to fight then, but many fans said no it has to build, well the fight wound up losing interest because alexander didnt do so hot prior to that and the fight buzz (and the fight itself) wound up a dud and Gamboa/Lopez and Angulo Kirkland, like you mention. Some fights I can think of whos interest prospered due to the wait was Wlad vs Haye and Hoya vs Vargas (I know theres a lot more but Im a little :dead right now)
Here's my list kirk, not sure which ones have happened already: Sillakh TKO Nashiro TKO Glaskov TKO Bute UD Conte TKO Arreloa KO Angulo TKO Kats TKO Wach TKO Ao KO Groves UD Qullin TKO JOnes TKO Yamanaka TKO Igatashi UD Kokietgym TKO
daaaaaaaamnnniiiitttt.... yes, yes it did thank you. Damnit, was so excited for the first team match that I wasnt thinking atsch damn, match canceled :verysad :sad2
Cant believe Kirkland vs Angulo is tomorrow, im seriously pumped.... I wonder what the official odds are on this fight :think Ill go look. I just hope it lives up to expectations I dont think Kirkland has ever been in a boring fight though so it should.
