First suggestion, providing it hasn't/doesn't get called off Feb 26 Stephen Foster v Ermano Fegatilli, Bolton Arena, (European super-featherweight). Should be a very good fight.
Ok for next month i've seen some of these banded around already (now that i've piped up it looks a lot quieter than it was this month :-() March 12 Burns vs laryea Jennings vs mcmillan (Also appleby is slated to fight that night vs the warrior tba) March 19th Magee vs bute Casey vs rigondeaux. It's a shame I didn't mention it sooner because this month has seen some top matches, notably crolla vs watson. Great fight try to watch it if possible. Tonight is a very good card also!
Not too late Boom Boom, and I might be following you shortly :think Starting to doubt my pick a bit. We will see.
TODAY IS FIGHT DAY !!!!!! Much respect for both these warriors for laying it all on the line tonight and seeing who the best really is. Cant wait and hope everyone enjoys the fights.
I know there has to be a sense of realism with fight choices. Between 20-30 a month is probably the maximum fight list we could maintain. They shouldn't all be title fights imo, I like the mix of crossroad fights and domestic fights in there. It basically comes down to what tackle and kirk hinted at earlier, if you like a fight, suggest it and it might get put up. As well as the zavek fight did I also note a lack of vasquez and soto in title fights on the list? Both scheduled to defend their belts in the coming weeks. Vasquez defends vs the guy who knocked out kim in 1 round and soto is having an easy match in preparation for the big antillon rematch. Pirog is also due to defend soon. I think it's important to maintain a nice quantity of fight to prevent us getting overwhelmed. 20-30 a month is perfect. I know the other league does that in a week but I couldn't keep up with that tbh.
I'm sure we can come to terms. Altogether there are about 7 to 15 world title fights a month so there's plenty of room for others, I say do not exclude a low division or out of radar title fight just to have a meaningless televised undercard bout instead. At the end, I say pick the best 25 quality matches per month +- 5 depending on the schedule and division and location should not matter, but IMO the lists were very solid this year, plus does it really matter HOW I win the championship? No.
Imo it shouldnt matter how big the list is. There should be as many fights on there as there's MEANINGFUL fights. I believe this is the list for March so far. 03/04 - Otis Griffin vs. Yusaf Mack - IBF Light Heavyweight Eliminator (If it's not postponed again..) 03/05 - Saul Alvarez vs. Matthew Hatton - WBC Light Middleweight title 03/05 - Zab Judah vs. Kaizer Mabuza - IBF Light Welterweight title 03/12 - Jonathan Victor Barros vs. Miguel Roman - WBA Featherweight title 03/12 - Andy Kolle vs. Avtandil Khurtsidze - IBO Middleweight title 03/12 - Ricky Burns vs. Joseph Laryea - WBO Super Featherweight title 03/12 - Sergio Gabriel Martinez vs. Sergiy Dzinziruk - Lineal Middleweight Title 03/12 - Miguel Vazquez vs. Leonardo Zappavigna - IBF Lightweight title 03/12 - Miguel Angel Cotto vs. Ricardo Mayorga - WBA Light Middleweight title 03/12 - Raul Garcia vs. Donnie Nietes - WBO Minimumweight title 03/18 - Demetrius Hopkins vs. Brad Solomon - WBA International title 03/18 - Lucian Bute vs. Brian Magee - IBF Super Middleweight title 03/19 - Vitali Klitschko vs. Odlanier Solis - WBC Heavyweight title 03/19 - Guillermo Rigondeaux vs. Willie Casey - Interim WBA Super Bantamweight title 03/25 - Ali Chebah vs. Ajose Olusegun - WBC Light Welterweight Eliminator 03/26 - Albert Sosnowski vs. Alexander Dimitrenko - EBU Heavyweight title 03/26 - Dmitry Pirog vs. Javier Francisco Maciel - WBO Middleweight title 03/26 - Thomas OOsthuizen vs. TBA - IBO Super Middleweight title 03/26 - Tshifiwa Munyai vs. Danilo Pena - IBO Super Bantamweight title 03/26 - Yuriorkis Gamboa vs. Jorge Solis - WBC/IBF Featherweight Unification 03/05 - Gary Sykes vs. Carl Johanneson - BBBofC Super Featherweight title 03/12 - Powel Wolak vs. Yuri Foreman - NABF Light Middleweight title 03/12 - Joshua Clottey vs. Calvin Green 03/12 - Michael Jennings vs. Gary McMillan - BBBofC Welterweight Eliminator 03/26 - Jorge Diaz vs. Teon Kennedy - USBA Super Bantamweight title 03/05 - Adrien Broner vs Daniel Ponce de Leon 03/26 - Miguel Angel Garcia vs. Matt Remillard - NABF featherweight title 03/26 - Denton Vassell vs. Bethuel Ushona - Commonwealth Welterweight title
Looking goood. A good amount of people changing their picks to Montiel by KO. The curse will strike you!!! :rofl:rofl:roflpleeeaasseenut:nut
Hmmmmm very an extent tackle I suppose you're right when the list is done at the start. What makes it messy is the changes in schedule. Having a big list at the start is ok, I couldn't handle many big lists each week.
This content is protected Bajingo I was the winner, hopefully we'll meet sometime in the near future, but I hold the lead 1-0.
