Haye fans were blind and set themselves up for inevitable failure, with their arrogance. Even though I trully believe Adamek has more options and tools than Haye ever did to win an elite fight, Adamek fans are more realistic in their appraisals. On the one hand, they acknowledge Vitali“s rightful status as a heavy favorite, on the other hand, they believe that Vitali is not invincible and can be beaten with skill, wit and toughness (three things that Adamek possesses in abundance).
Klychko is the correct English transliteration, how does using the Polish spelling make any sense? Most English speakers have no idea that the CZ makes a CH sound.
Polish is Slavic and close to Ukrainian in some ways. It's the closest spelling to the real thing. This is clear I think.
Not when you're talking about the transliteration into English.... the whole point is to spell it phonetically closest to the proper pronounciation. Using the Polish spelling doesn't do that for English speakers.
The Poles have a man who could win....not probable but possible. He's good enough that I've heard that Vittilie is coming in light, to be fast himself. Wait ten years and the K-2 will be even more beloved than the once second most hated man in boxing Lewis....well actually it was a draw between Lewis and DHL.
Vitaly peaked aginst Lewis, that was 8 years ago, he is certainly worse now. However, 2000-2001 were bad years for him, as I can recall.
As promoter and boxer he does what everyone else do - try to sell the fight. Obviously he is not better than 10 years ago but is still very good and shares the 1 place with his brother and far far ahead of 3 best heavyweight Adamek and I'll give full credit to Adamek if he wins.
