Well, if the PPV is approx $15usd, that would be the same as someone in the US who earns $3,600/month spending $45 on a PPV....$15 doesn't seem that bad to me.

Yes its not, but the case is with the rule , and RTL which is in tv packages in almost all polish households. I will watch it in cinema paying the same price as PPV but gaining better quality, simple

    K2 being underhand?! Never!!!

Hopefully the Polish people get it for free. I know it's a huge fight for Adamek but the fans shouldn't have to pay for these fights. It could be great for Polish boxing but if you charge for it, it won't have as much of a positive effect.

I've been saying it for years, PPV is a terrible way to make money. This is talking about America, but if a top boxing fight was shown on national prime TV (CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC) it'd generate much more money for the fight. It'd also build the sport and make it much more popular (the lack of boxing fans in the US now is just bad).

So its hard to compare. Ustka got about 20.000 residents and is a summer beach resort , which brings cash in summer for i guess 70% residents who benefit from tourism. There are no other industries, maybe aside from fishing.that bring cash inflows , no plants, no banks, etc

And as i suppose you left Poland in 90s or earlier which was really different country then today.

I remember when Klitchko fans said that K2 doesn’t do PPV because they are such a great guys. Now same guys defend PPV concept in Poland for people who have already pay for channel that shows the fight.

I have RTL in Finland and I think it would be outrageous if my channel would be blocked during fights.
