The punch landed right on the temple.... and hard. The only thing that looked goofy was how Walker fell.... almost like out of a movie, a dramatic fall. That's not to say it was fake.... it was a delayed reaction from Walker.
That'l be on the 'quirky highlights' reels for a while. It's a shame that most of the noisy fans are seated so far from the ring. You get little waves and bursts of distant sound that hint that there's a real 'atmosphere' going on some way away, but nothing near the ring, really. The near-ring crowd are very passive.
Yeah, it was a good shot.. overhand right that landed clean on the temple. Was a good shot. Walker has no punch resistance though.
...and some of the best HW power to go with it. He'll never, ever be world class (especially as he's not even close to having a refined enough defense to protect his chin the way Wladimir does) but he'll always be exciting to watch for that reason. Don't even keep a scorecard in his fights.
FFS at least let us see the KO. I've seen fights in clubs that have went on for longer than that :huh
It was a horrible fight up until the end. It was the camera angle of the live feed that made the end seem so strange at first... I think everyone watching was like WTF?!? Because you didn't see the shot on Walker land.. and it looked like Banks went down.. then you see Walker on the ground.. and then he's all ****ed up.
