If somebody like Hide could win a title in the 90s than so could these two guys.

I watched a few rounds of Wlad-Peter yesterday, and FORGOT the massive size difference! Wlad absolutely towered over him, made Peter look Tysons height. And Vitali is taller than Wlad...

How many Klitschko opponents has Lennox NOT given advice to? It seems every Wlad or Vitili fight we hear that Lennox has been whispering in the other guys ear!

Sounds like a probable scenario, although I personally prefer Vitali to win.

Seems like it could explain why he went down versus McCline but not Wlad.

But - are there any other examples from boxing history where a broken eardrum ruined a boxers balance? I have no idea, but maybe some of the historians here know.

Also, Peter just claimed that he lost 25lb when he fought Maskaev. What the hell is that about? Did he actually mean he lost it in training?

    :rofl

Actually, Vitali is stylistically a VERY bad matchup for Peter, all he can rely on really is that those years of absence took its very toll on Vitali. If he's in shape and has been, as rumoured.. sparring frequently with the likes of Wladimir, McCline etc etc.. Peter is in DEEP trouble.

A lifetime bet wouldn't be the wisest thing right now, as we have no clue as to how Vitali is.. but if he's even close to where he was, and I'm sure he will NOT step in the ring without being at least 95%... I'm sorry to say.. his superiority over Peter is HUGE. On the other hand, Vitali can fall short with an injury, he can kayo himself due to stamina problems.. there's many factors that COULD lead to his demise, none of which are due to Peter's superiority.

This fight is going to be exactly like the Tzsu vs. Mitchell fight...most ringside experts thought that Kostya was going to have a lot of ring rust and have trouble against the quicker and younger Sharmba Mitchell...they were dead wrong.

It will be a decisive and impressive knockout victory for Vitali Klitschko. Peter is just terribly outclassed, just as Sharmba was outclassed that night against King Kostya.

    Vitali KO Peter in 5.

Maybe that's why Haye hasn't announced his next opponent yet!

    Another plausible scenario:
Wlad shows up to hold Vitali's spit bucket, only he's wearing boxing gloves. In the fifth, an exhausted, bleeding, hurt Vitali tags Wladimir in. Wlad KOs the equally tired but still-dangerous Peter in the 8th. Wlad and Vitali are pronouced co beltholders, fulfilling their dream. :nut
