Yeah. Biggest double standard of them all is ,Klitchko fans attacking Haye, because of one boring fight. When Wladimir haven’t had entertaining fight in years.

Now it is not all about winning anymore it’s all about entertainment value.

Were did all Klitchko fans who were boxing purist go. They loved Wladimir vs. Rahman/Ibramigov/Chagaev I’m sure they appreciate masterpiece of a fight that Haye had.

Well HW is his division. He was struggling to make CW as it is, let alone with an extra 15lbs of muscle on top. I can agree with you on the last part, I don't find him particularly irritating but he's only making himself look stupid with the constant talk. Though I can understand why he's doing it to generate interest, he should probably tone it done a bit.

Thank you Einstein. Haye has over 20 fights...with only ONE being against a 7 foot giant.
How dumb am i? I'm still trying to find what was so dumb in my post...
Both Klitschkos had boring fights too...So who's using double standard? Thanks for using that unknown word "definitive".

No!! We Haye fans will claim that David tired Valuev out so much, by making the big fella run after him for so long that the big guy has never had time to recover from his exertions!! As a result, a still exhausted Valuev gets ko'd by Vitali, thanks entirely to Haye:lol:.

I am talking about his heavy weight fights only because at the heavy's that all that matters, sorry but, his CW fights are not important in relation to the heavies. You may disagree, but, I DO NOT!

That's because he's been lifting too much weights to look good in underwear commercials. I don't think Haye belongs at heavy, he has tits that wouldn't look bad on a bodybuilder.

Tommy mate, the fact that so many people who aren't fans of David are all going on about "David Haye" is "Mission accomplished" for him!! He is looking for as big a pay-day as possible and the best way to achieve it is to generate as much talk as possible regarding his possible bout with a Klitschko! Both Klitschkos do great business, so does David. Both have good, solid European fan-bases. What David and the Klitschkos really want is the Americans interested in this fight!! David couldn't care a less if our American cousins are only paying their $$s to watch either brother smash him up, their money (And it is big money!! The American market is the biggest in the boxing world, of that there can be no argument) spends just the same as anyone else's!! We as fans of his may wish for him to "Tone it down", but the truth is he'll probably "Crank it up"!! David has already expressed his desire for this to be "The biggest fight in history" which is of course preposterous, BUT here's the thing!! If David keeps up his world class bull-****, the general public (Another group of people who can ensure you earn you mega bucks!!) may actually start to "Buy into the hype". As a result, David clears a fortune, win or lose!!!

Why are people making such a big deal about Vitali throwing 1000 punches when he missed about 800 of them?

    Nothing impressive about that imo.

Haye's accuracy against Valuev was something like 75%

I have said nothing bad about Vitali's performance. I think winning every single round of a fight is a good thing. And, he did it by pressing the action against an opponent who was merely trying to not get stopped. It's hard to make a good fight if there's only one man in the ring interested in winning. The only person who should be ashamed was Johnson.

    But, I'll point this out...

David Haye is a small man fighting a big man. Klitschko is a large man fighting a smaller man. Therefore, Haye would be given more slack because he has to overcome a disadvantage, whilst Klitschko does not.

I was commenting solely on your OP. And you didn't even present anything resembling a double standard. All you said basically, some thing Kaye is the greatest thing in the HW division (which is wrong, aas most do not even see him in that light) and that people dislike Vitali. People having a preference on who they like is NOT a double standard, hence my first post in this thread. BTW, many have said the same about Vitali here.

What exactly is this so-called double standard you speak of?

The number I found is 62%, and most of those punches weren't really effective either. If you only throw 140 punches it's not impressive by default, I have trouble calling it a fight even. One hundred and forty punches, is there even a precedent for that to happen in a title bout? Or any twelve rounder that wasn't universally agreed upon to be a stinker for that matter?

Your absolutely right, if I didn't know any better I say you were a natural born ****ing genius. Statistically there shouldn't be and wouldn't be any difference between throwing an average of 12 punches per round against an "LOTR Ogor" as Haye put it so delicately, versus throwing an average of 80+ punches per round against a defensive minded, counter puncher. And really, landing 75% of his punches, ****'s sake man showtime should hire you as there own personal compubox, better yet HBO should tell compubox to **** off and hire you, but even better than that a major party within a country should hire you to personally run there survey during an election. :patsch
