Klitschko said on social media " I am obsessed with my goal to become three time
heavyweight champion and join legends such as Muhummad Ali , Evander Holyfield
and Lennox Lewis " . From looking at him on his USA tour he already looks like he
could fight tomorrow. From looking at the shape he is in it looks like he has been
training in secret for a long time . Is he going to do a Sugar Ray Leonard and shock
    the world ?

I think Wlad thrives most when he's the underdog and is not given a chance. He's motivated by that. But to be honest: we have to see the first 2-3 rounds if he throws punches or if he tries to avoid getting hit. You can't win vs. AJ by just not getting hit.

If he wins it wouldn't be a shock, while he is past his best he's still facing a relatively untested opponent in Joshua. While I'm favouring Joshua, I don't see him as a big favourite, too many unknowns in this one to make any confident pick.

I don't think he's been training in secret. he's trained awhile for abort fury rematchs. he's been training a long time in layoff. I just wonder what effect that has

Klitshko is not rusty. He has had two training camps for the Fury rematch and has been throwing punches in anger for a while now. People banking on him become old overnight may be in for a shock.

marketers have preyed n just such thoughts as yours to justify passing this off as a world title fight.

They had you worked out years ago.

if only ali holyfeld and lewis had got ktfo in seconds by a retired failed fattie near 40something and kuilled by journeymen then they too could have notched up three time claim much sooner.

I have said since before this was made, this is a very dangerous fight for Joshua.

I think Klitschko wasn't mentally right for the Fury fight, all the things happening away from boxing (wife and child) and also the fact Fury was so unpredictable and Klitschko just wasn't comfortable, you could actually see it in his eyes how disturbed he was by Fury and circus Fury created. Klitschko has to be in control at all times and Fury made that almost impossible.

Joshua is trying to move the same way as Klitschko has. AJ plays the very respectful, grateful and humble card and that will suit Klitschko far more, it's a far more relaxed build up, there is no unexpected behaviour or crazy antics.

Klitschko will feel he has a lot to prove to a lot of people and cement his greatness and to some extent has nothing to lose because he has been written off as old and past his best. While on the flip side Joshua is apparently the future of heavyweight boxing, younger, fresher, in his home country and the bookies favourite.

Taking nothing away from Fury, he did what he had to do and won very convincingly in my opinion but it has to be said Klitschko was awful against Fury, truly awful.

I think the long lay off will have done Klitschko a huge favour, he should be completely recharged mentally and physically and I can't see him being as bad as he was against the unorthodox unpredictable Fury, Joshua is far more conventional and straight forward type of fighter for Klitschko.

I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if Klitschko won because he is a great fighter but I'm British and will be supporting AJ.

If Klitschko just had 2 off nights or suddenly aged against Jennings and Fury then Joshua is in big trouble.

the Klitschko against Pulev showed no signs of ageing or being off form and he was 38 then. If that Klitschko shows up.. the one the dominated the division for about 12 years.. then Joshua has no chance.

AJ and this new crop of heavyweights are levels above Wlad,

are you seeing what Ortiz is done to a wlads opponents.

WLAD has been on a slide. he is an excellent fighter, and Joshua beating him, will not take away from the win. I just thinkg Joshua and the new heavyweights are better.

Watch when Dubois comes into the game. We still got Parker , hughie, and Wilder.

These new boys are all very skillful. But Joshua seems like he getting better and better.

I want to see if Wlad can last the distance.
