He can pull the trigger just fine. Both Fury and Jennings didn't provide him with a static target. Pulev just stood there with a bullseye on his chin and made him look better than he is. He still wasn't able to out box Pulev and relied on his power to win.

Go back to his best years - he didn't look good against Tony T either. Why? =Movement , angles.
Why couldn't he pull the trigger against Haye? Same reason.
Its not hard to beat Wlad . All you need is a basic ability to box and move. See the Williamson fight.
Guys who were fleet footed , stick n movers went extinct in the post Lewis era and thats why it was the weakest talent pool in the sports history.

I give him a chance against Joshua cos AJ has more in common with Pulev than he does with Fury. You need to more more like Fury to be a sure fire victor against Wlad.

I am completely at peace with WK losing this fight if it so happens. Job done champ already! Fighting for the pure buzz of it nowadays. Insane he's still even going at this point!!

he thrives when hes facing a massive underdog, but that still goes wrong a fair number of times.

Expect Wlad to be very confident. He probably toyed with AJ in sparring and knows he won't have to chase Joshua like he did with Fury. He will try the jab clinch/maul and the leaping left hook, don't think he has the balls to let right hands rip, there's just to much power coming back. Joshua will let the right hand go and the left hook counter off Wlad jab.

Will Joshua get caught coming in using basic shots? Can Wlad handle any flush right hand from Joshua? Edge towards Joshua landing first.

Was he the underdog vs Peter? And AJ doesn't count, clearly.

Yeah Haye, Chambers and Byrd were static targets. You really are a proven idiot.

Yes , Byrd in 2006 was the very definition of a static target. He legs were totally gone. He literally stood like a statue in the centre of the ring and blocked punched with his face.
You're a just spill over from the HW Blog comments section. You think Ali would get knocked out by Haye.. ydksab . absolutely nothing.

Doesnt matter your motivation or your fitness if you cant pull the trigger anymore.

Yes for Peter. And why does AJ not count?

I recall Stewart saying Wlad was extremely motivated for Sam Peter because he was the underdog going into the fight. Now Wlad once again is the underdog even if only a slight one and Wlad says he's motivated like he hasn't in a while because he has many doubters to convince.

If anyone wants to win a guaranteed bet, put every single dollar you can pull together on Aj by KO.

This is a guarantee, some mismatches have a single possible outcome and this is one of the most clear cut mismatches in the history in ALL of sports

Wlad is in his forties and grown old and the new heavyweights are suddenly better. Wlad use to batter Joshua in sparring look at the smile on wlads face and the look of uncertainty in Joshua's.
Can he still do it? Wlad thinks he can and Joshua is banking on he can't. Let's see I think its somewhere in the middle an evenly matched fight with an old all time great and a good young Heavyweight 50/50.
