I think wlad will stay away from Joshua in the first place rounds and tire Joshua out, but I think it will be UD Joshua, but no KO.
This is exactly my angle on the fight, a lot of good level fighters go through their first opponents with very high knockout ratios, I've always argued with a lot of my friends (mainly casuals) that i'm not sure Joshua has this absolute monster power. Don't get me wrong he hits VERY hard, but he's only had one opponent who really came and stuck it on him and he couldn't get Whyte out until he was absolutely gassed. A lot of his fights have been stoppages because he's just overwhelmed opponents who are scared of him... My swing in this fight is the fact that Wlad is an intelligent man, he's obviously seen enough and taken enough from being around Joshua to know he can win this fight.... There is no way he'd take a fight in England for one last big pay day (he doesn't need it) and I can't see a man with his pride bowing out by being humiliated by Fury then KO'd by Joshua. Wlad wins late stoppage.
Klitschko will come in and knock him out in 2 and all the other heavyweights will go back to being scared of him and he'll unify all the belts and retire in 5 years.
50/50 But I would like Wlad to take an easy warm up fight first. Wlad can win. Joshua doesn't have a good chin. And he's not as smart as Lennox Lewis.
I think this could very well happen. It's strange how everyone's perseption changed with just one fight. Saying that though 18months out the ring, 41 years old. Even Vitali was clearly declining at at 40.
Joshua is too green as a pro to defeat Wladimir. His power comes from beating lacklustre opponents. His amateur career did not show any extreme power.
Wlad has come up with 5 steps to win him the fight. He will put those 5 steps together to make a fist that will punch through anything in life.
