    Exactly Brewster finished terrible that fight and look what STILL happened. Wlad does try to hold I will give you that but obviously it isnt long enough because his attempt too didn't work on Sanders or Brewster. Why didn't it work? Because that one good shot lands and he is lost for rounds.

    You are living in a world that is more than 3 years ago. I agree that Wladimir used to have a problem dealing with adversity in that manner. He admitted that much after his fight with Sanders. For a simple reason, he had never been taught what to do when hurt, and he had never really been hurt. You have to realize when you have a guy that is that size, and that talented... he really doesn't come across adversity all that much. However, since being with Steward all of this time, it is obvious Wladimir has made those adjustments and simply isn't the same fighter that he was 3 years ago. The Peter fight is exactly what he needed to get over the hump.

    His chin is fine in my opinion, nothing wrong with it despite what idiots say. If he was chinny then he would've gotten knocked out cold once someone catches him, has he ever?, no. As far as heart goes, the man does have heart, if he didn't he would've have gotten up over and over against Sanders and KEPT trying despite losing, same with Brewster. His determination and training speaks for itself, the man LOVES to train.

    Lost for rounds? Brewster landed a huge shot in the 3rd round that shook Wlad for a second, and Wladimir went right back to pasting the **** out of him for the rest of that round, and brutalized him in the 4th round before completely gassing out. How do you explain that?

    He was hurt and put down in the 10th against Peter, and came back to box circles around him in the 11th, trade punches with Peter and hurt him badly in the 12th... how does that support that claim?

    TOS put Wlad down with a flash off balance knockdown, but a good shot nonetheless... and Wladimir popped right back up in less than one second and pounded TOS for the rest of that round and fight as well.

    Go all the way back to his fight with Pannell when he was caught off balance, but with a big shot and put down... got right back up and destroyed him within the next round as well.

    I think that people took that "glass jaw" nonsense from the Sanders fight and have been running with it ever since. Guess what? Brewster could knock Wlad out against Saturday, and it still wouldn't mean that Wlad has a glass jaw. That is what happens when Power punchers exchanges punches.

    Yes, and Manny was just a co-trainer, as his conditioning and sparring was run by Fritz for that fight. Manny was steamed because he said Fritz and Wlad's old handlers would only have him spar for 4 high paced rounds.

    Since getting with Manny under his full control after that fight.... Wlad spars for over 100 rounds by fight night, and at least 10-12 rounds a time with different partners moving in and out. He said that he taught Wladimir how to think and fight when tired, which is what his past trainers failed to teach him.

    All Im saying is he doesnt walk into the ring with the heart and determination of a Holyfield, or intimidate people like Tyson would, he needs that something extra to just come to the ring and people know he is going to win....Peter just ran out of time in my opinion, I want to see Wlad go in and show he can trade and walk through someone's best shot which is something he hasnt always done....the greats dont lose fights to Puritty from training issues, the Brewster work ethic excuse has already came up as well....Im not saying he isnt the most talented HW but I want to see the total package that he could be and we hopefully are starting to see that with Manny around.

    To reply to the chin talk, what separates a good chin from a great chin is how one recovers. He has shown problems with that, and they seemingly can not be fixed he can just hope his new style ala Manny improves his chance of not getting caught.

    thought so but wasnt sure on that, he will be fine in Manny's hands I just feel like I have been waiting for years for him to turn that corner and dominate the division....Brewster will prove to be a big test that hopefully pushes the chin issue behind him and allows him to clean up the division.

    Tua's biggest weakness came into play against Lewis - his arms are way too short.

    Look at Brewster and Wlad standing back to back - their arm length is about the same and Brewster seems to have broader shoulders. There just wont be no way for Wlad to be able to dance circles around Brew and throw safe jabs like Lewis did against Tua. NO WAY.

    Fair enough even though I see it in a different way. I'd rather see him show great defense and avoid taking punches while landing his own instead of taking some to prove he can take it. When you take a punch you know that it only happened because of a mistake you've done.

    Kind of interesting that Wlad despite his chin not being solid choses to face the hardest punchers in the division, Sanders, Brewster, Peter, TOS. Even when he fought journeymen he would face hard punching journemen like Jefferson, Botha, Nicholson.
