Hey all where's osme good places to go in the sity here in sydney?
Went star bar last night, was pretty good there

 

Thats where I used to hunt. I've been there once since I've been back in Australia and a policewoman got knocked unconscious out the front and they had to close the bar early.

Theres not many busy places on a Sunday. Your best bet is to try 3 wise monkeys or Scruffy Murphys. There might be some decent back packers out.

 

Depends what you're into mate... the Cross is where you'll get the most people. Candy's, World Bar etc. You can also try Darling Harbour for Cargo, Bungalow 8 etc and a few beer cafe's...

Haven't been out in a while though so not totally sure any more!

Pick up a Drum Media from a shop and go see a live band... bring back the pub band I say!

Yeah thnks matem yeh when i have been, i mainly stayedi n the harbour, wallaby bar, cargo's.

But yeh stated last night went to scubarm saw the best looking little asian waitress:tong, then went to the hotel/pub right across the road, got some cheaper drinks, alright place. had first spew lol, met a tourist, didnt know she leavin today.
Took off for a wlk, went to albions hotel for another drink and another spew lol, again spewed up outside.
Then we went to star bar and stayed their most of the night, then went to star city and took off home.


So their basically the places i know, dont know anythin in the cross, or the other places on george.

Yeah i thought there were clubs in star city, when we went there they were like no.

Newtown, Annandale or Surry Hills would be the best place to go to see some local live bands. Scruffy Murphys and maybe 3 wise will have some pop rock cover band if thats what you're into.

The Rocks isn't a bad place to try. We used to go to The Mercantile around 6pm every Sunday, you'd get a decent crowd there around that time, and once we saw the Barmy Army there having fun.
After that, we'd make our way to The Orient, then to either Scruffy's or wherever the crowd wanted to go.

 

Yeh basically, just go out to an alright place n hit the **** and see if we can score some talent.

 

Yeah, I'm back in Australia, but not in Sydney. Am staying at my brothers for now, and will probably move back to Sydney in August.

Star Bar is always my first choice, but I only really go out to pick up. If you're just after a drink with mates, then anythings good. If you're looking to watch live sport, I'd check out the casino, though if it's a big event like the football world cup, etc, then we went to Shark Hotel (which is also flooded with asian birds).

3 wise is good on a Sunday. Well, not good, but it's one of the better places on a Sunday or a week night. The top level of Star Bar is only open on a Friday and Saturday night.
I do remember years ago that it used to be open, and there were actually decent crowds going there during the week, same as other bars, clubs in the CBD. For some reason it's just quietened down over the years.

As for the cross... The Empire is good and very popular. I've been there a few times, and although I've heard bad stories, I've never had any trouble there myself.

Ok mate, yeh basically we want to get pissed and pik up lol.
But i enjoyed the star bar full of the orient, also at the pub near scubar had some tourists which was good.
Yeh since im an hour from the city its not often but good fun to go, act stupid, pick up chicks who you wouldnt at the local lol.

What a good place for tourists/backpackers?
Or best place u went ot pick up?

how the **** is esb going? i gotta say i do really really miss posting on here, and after my sweet comeback in the tipping comp.........shiiiitttt, i might have to start posting and talking some smack.

im still keeping up with world and aussie boxing but not as much as i used too. esb is great for info and options about all boxing topics.

i really hope everyone is doing well in life and your all happy n **** :good

so iv had my little boy, he is 1 month old now, born Jaxxon Sam Pattie, 9lbs 1 and 55cm. big ****er indeed and he hasnt dropped his hands once in 30 days.

goin good in my tennis coaching but some kids are really ****ing rude, no respect, id like to give one kid a right hand to the chin and see if that makes the little **** shut up and listen.

so, yeah, thats it,

oh yeah iv turned all churchy and got baptized a few weeks back, even got off the pot :nut no ****.

been doin a little boxing with geales old coach, had some sparring with a young guy who is goin to syd soon for a am fight. he has good skills but need to get more killer instinct.

yeah i havent changed that much mate, just more that i was a little down when i didnt think id get to see my new born, but im happy now and its all good.
