who here works in the i.t. profession? i just finished my diploma at tafe for systems administration and am finding it difficult to get a job any real tips from anyone or any help how to get into the industry?
Maco, my suggestion is try and do some work experience in IT, even unpaid voluntary work will do. Once you have some practical working experience, it will go a long way when you apply for some jobs. Good luck.
Starting a new gym today. Should be interesting. It looks really professional at least, which is a big change from the last gym I was at. Means that I have to cut down on the partying and clubbing though big time. Monday is their intense fitness day, so definitely no more sunday sessions for me. My cardio is absolutely **** at the moment, so I have no doubt tonight is going to be very hard.
The new gym was great. Really professional with great facilities. It felt really good to be back in training again. Its going to be tough to get my fitness back though, and it really made me appreciate again the kind of mental toughness that all fighters have. Hopefully I can stick at it and start sparring again. My whole body is hurting today in a big way.
Good stuff MSTR, keep it up mate, you will see some results pretty soon. Plus im training mate, and we are goin to rumble for the ESB Aussie Forum Jr Middle World Title, i think its got about as much cred as the WBF. Iv had a sore back lately, like for the last 10 years!!! so im goin to the chiro today, i hope they dont sting me too hard $$$$$. Id ask Banker, but saying hey Banker, i have a sore back, i dont think he could help me very much.
the only help i could give you is to stay away from chiros  - they are a pack of scum bags that just crack your bones and say $100 please! your best bet is to go to a physio, get the exercises and instructions, and then go home and work on it yourself. They will prob just tell you how to do a few things to strenghten the muscles, how much to ice it and whether or not it needs to be strapped
atsch sorry im dumb, yeah im goin to physio, thats what i want mate, just some good exercises and info. I have a lower spine that wont curve, the bottom section of my spine stay straight when i bend over. So when i sleep on my front , i wake up with a dicky back. Plus iv tweaked it a few times doin weights, but i just try and train through the pain, not smart i know. Maybe the physio will be some hot chick gagging for ****!!!! Wishful thinking, but she when she says take your top off, im goin to take my pants off and she what she says
My cardio is also up to ****. The last time I ran was around 10 months ago when I played soccer with my mates, I've done the short bolt to catch the odd bus here and there too, but thats it.
