i think to some extent hatton and cotto will use a similar tactic against mayweather... coming forward and stalking him down. Cotto kept SSM on the back foot the whole fight and was very very patient. He picked his punches really well and showed suprisingly good hand speed - as good as that of SSM i reckon. Cotto has come of age and is a more mature fighter than he was 2 years ago - i think he is ready for PBF :good

Cotto and Hatton use very different styles of pressure though. Hatton comes in much more open, where as Cotto is more well rounded in that he can both box and fight inside with Floyd, and will be looking to limit Floyds countering opportunities. Hatton will get countered to often to pull a UD in this one, although I think the fight will be closer then people think.

No worries mate, it was a good day. Oz always has some eventful stories up his sleeve. It was good to catch up with him. Hopefully you can come along to the Hatton/Mayweather fight.

Although, Oz said he's still 50/50 for that one. he's worried he'll blow a boxing viewing wad if he watches it, and the Mundine/Clavero fight in the one day.

I think he wants to save all his boxing excitement for the true main event (Mundine/Clavero). :yep

Just read it now. Short and sweet with a good run down of the fight. I liked the pic btw. Do they put a limitation on how much you can write for the article, or where you just aiming to keep it fairly brief?

I've had no limitations so far...It depends on the quality of fights on the night as to how much you write. My next article will be on Angelo Dicarlo's fightcard on the 30th Nov. "TOOT TOOT"

Great night that will be too.
Power punching Alex Leapai faces easily his hardest match, against Nathan Briggs. That could be an early KO either way as both can bang or could go quite a few rounds. Should be a war.
Then u got Ranee Ganoy out for revenge against Thai Somchai Nakbalee who beat Ganoy a few years back.
Angelo DiCarlo is fast becoming 1 of the top promoters in Australia & the surrounding South-East Asia.:deal

I'll see how I go. I am going out Friday night with a heap of mates from high school. Going to have a Massive night, no sleep probably and then straight to work. Finish work at 12:30. Then I have a girl coming round to watch movies (**** :) ) after that so I was hoping to get a bit of sleep in between finishing work and her coming over. I might give it a look though, i'll just wait and see how bad I pull up.
