Fair enough... Birdies is okay, i think i have become too much of snob to go there anymore but. You get some real trash bags there... Brekky Creak steaks are always good. GPO is basically all the scene kids of Brisbane. If its not what your into you will probably hate it, or not enjoy it at least. How old are you? I get the feeling as i start getting a bit older i will change the places i go accordingly...

You can get the ginger type, but i get the caffeine type.

I heard people were tripping on them and i felt kinda ripped off when i didnt see any pink elephants.

    Ginger flavoured tablets?!

Sounds like it'd make me spew.

I'll be going on my first plane trip later this year. Well, I've been on a plane from Sydney to Canberra when I was 5, but I can't remember **** from that.

I'm a bit apprehensive actually. I'm not particularly fond of heights. Though it's only really when I'm looking down off a balcony, or in a situation where I can fall. I think I'd feel pretty safe in a plane.

i have probably flown about 30 times and i still freak out - its just a phobia i have... the slightest sign of turbulance and i get tunnel vision and start to sweat. I just have to breathe, convince myself that turbulance is just like bumps on a road and drop two Xanax. THen im fine and sleep the rest of the way :D

My mate says he needs to drink a few before flying. He hates take off, and also says his eyes get all funny during the flight. Sounds a bit dramatic to me, though I can't really say anything on it because I've never really flown.

He also said he experienced terrible turbulance last year, and when the plane landed all the passengers started clapping.

Another mate also said that after he went on a long flight, his ear was in severe discomfort for a few days afterwards. I'm not too sure why that was seeing how the cabins are pressurized and all.

plenty of people cant fly at all

i have a good mate who isnt medically allowed to fly because the pressure that builds up behide his eyes could cause him to have an aneurysm of the brain. He reckons the pain is so severe its like his head is about to pop.

Hmm. I didn't know people experienced problems in that area. Aren't the planes pressurized?

I've got a friend who has epilepsy, and he can't go scuba diving because of the pressure, but flying isn't a problem for him at all.
