He's right. People will understand this better after the Ortiz fight.

I'm just gonna repost this since I'm tired of arguing over the same topic:

JMM [almost] beat Pacquiao with: movement + angles + combinations + controlling distance. Floyd knows how to control distance, but he has a habit of standing in front of you and inviting you in. That's not the right strategy against Pacquiao. He also never lets his hands go in combinations. You need to throw combinations against Pacquiao, or he's just gonna swarm you, it's that simple. You won't hold him off with one punch. Look at the Clottey fight or the Mosley fight for perfect examples. Floyd doesn't have the punching power to rely on one punch either.

Floyd biggest advantage in this fight is his reach. He's got several inches of reach over Pacquiao, and that will be difficult to overcome for any Mayweather opponent.

The way I see it, Pacquiao's offense is too unpredictable, too relentless, and Floyd is too defensive minded and too methodical in his punch output to deal with Pacman. He will lose by decision or late stoppage. I've said this ever since Pac moved up to lightweight and I've never changed my opinion.

    :deal

Since all these people are picking pac, I wish Floyd would be a big underdog so I can make some money. I won't happen though. If it gets signed and when it's close to fight time, Floyd will be the favorite.

:lol::lol: This is awesome! Now all of ESB's little, wanna-be hood rats are pissed at Kobe. In all honesty they probably hated him already. He has never been real popular with that crown.

something tells me that after ortiz and jmm, paq/may will not be as relevant as it is today.

the ortiz guy is tough. that berto fight was a war.

i think ortiz is a live dog at +500 and i already have a small play on him. pbf is coming off an 18 month layoff from a 16 month layoff fighting a southpaw which his father has repeatedly been wary of.

two years ago i would've bet pbf. if they fought today i would bet paq.
