I am, not sure where he goes from here maybe a shot at Quillen but the promotional issues might be a problem.
I'm giving uz a punchers chance although I think it's a little overrated because he hasn't knocked anyone out of consequence. As for korobov maybe a scrap with Andy lee would be good to build his name up and create interest in him for a big tv title fight.
Korobov will somehow manage to stay off the grid regardless of the outcome, like he has for years despite having Arum promoting him literally since day 1 as a pro.
I feel like they've coddled him, the guys 31 and this is arguably his biggest fight. Times not on his side, they have to start putting him in with names.
I agree and it's a shame cause he's a damn good fighter, I mean for the past like 6 years hes been ready for big names ...he's not the son of a legend or anything I don't know why Arum would try to milk him when he's still unknown its perplexing.
If Jose wins he really should consider changing his last name, it doesn't roll off the tongue very well.
So who does Korobov fight next while waiting for his shot at Quillen's belt? Quillen does not fight manadatories so you do the math...
Call me crazy, but I think Korobov might give GGG problems, if they fight, say 3 years down the road...
Korobov shows flashes of brilliance and can really hit hard often from weird angles but he needs to massively improve his stamina. He is sucking for air after 4 rounds. Get him training at high altitude and run him into the ground with cardio exercises while there is still time otherwise he is another Andre Ward in the making. Just another great waste of talent during his prime years.
