Kostya Tszyu vs Shannon Taylor

One for all the Shannon Taylor fans,

Old video of Shannon Taylor fighting Kostya Tszyu in the amateurs. Shannon was only a kid and fought well against the best amateur in the world, but Tszyu all class.

Kostya reeked with class from very early on.

 

Shannon gave a good account of himself there and I'm surprised to see a bit of showboating from Kostya

 

Taylor still tells every one he won that fight .

 

That's what fighters do......... Bhop has never lost a fight if u ask him

 

In the early to mid 90's Taylor after winning a fight against an unranked or well over the hill opponent, would jump onto the ropes and yell "Tszyu in 2. Tszyu in 2". There was no reason for Tszyu to fight Taylor and he would have been flattened in about 4 rounds anyway

 

And i think both were promoted by mordey anyway.

 

I also remember him saying that a lot. Tszyu never needed Taylor.

 

It was actually Z00 in 2 that he would say. Remember it also.
