Kotelnik vs Alexander

Still haven't watched the fight (!) but everyone on here had Kotelnik winning quite comfortably yet none of the US writers were crying robbery as they were for Mosley-Mora this week.

 

trust me; watch it and then you'll know why.

Alexander is an HBO fighter and one that isn't going to be slaughtered.

However, not even Chemical Ali could cover up that performance.

 

Even Kellerman felt he'd lost it and he LOVES Alexander. Papa had Kotelnik winning too.

Lederman's scorecard was like he was rewarding Devon just for trying, not for the actual punches landed.

 

you know what I discovered straight after the fight, the vast majority of the Brit forum thought Kotelnik won.

If you went over the General a good portion were arguing that Alexander won.

A good few posters were even saying that those who thought Alexander won was down purely to racial divides. And to be honest I can understand such views or maybe some people just don't know how to score a fight.

I did a lot of moaning on a football forum that I post on and many felt I was being a bit strong, then they viewed it and all of sudden they were reporting that in fact Kotelnik did win the fight.

 

The one going forward was Kotelnik too. Awful scoring in what was an excellent fight. Kellermen summed it up when he said scoring a fight should be who you rather have been in a round. :think

 

actually it wasn't, many were tying to justify the score.

if you didn't agree then you were a racist.

 

On the GF, scoring is done according to who you like more, then you alter your scoring criteria so they win. Over here, there seems to be a little more appreciation of scoring a fight by the actual criteria.

But it would be hard to say that was a convincing Alexander win. He landed **** all throughout the fight. Kotlenik landed the cleaner, more effective punches; he was the one coming forward and setting the pace; he controlled ring centre and I don't think he was ever on the ropes; and his defence nullified most of Alexander's pitty-pat shots.

Under no interpretation other than he waved his arms around a lot could you say he was the winner.

 

I was just going through the GF cliches after a fighter loses TBH.

 

I'm not joking when I say that I honestly think the general is full of children. I am also quite comfortable in guessing that a lot are still at various schools all over the world and not just America as well. I refuse to believe that that many people are that idiotic and incapable of any semblance of rational adult debate(s).

A lot of the really good posts are drowned-out by pathetic cheerleading and name-calling and I honestly cannot remember the last time I posted there. It really is an amazing place.

Massive robbery. Anyone who scored that fight for Alexander doesn't know **** about boxing.

 

Does anyone know where I can see this fight on the web I still haven't seen it.
