where did i say it's a magical force field you ape i still spar regularly (2x a week if time permits), and of course you still feel it. similarly, 16 ounces gloves or 12 ounce gloves surely still hurt, and can drop you. The point for the idiot's around the room is that in my opinion: 1) It's harder to knock someone out who's wearing headgear than without 2) It's harder to knock someone out with 12 ounce amateur gloves than 10 ounce punchers gloves Point #1 will be contentious , but surely most people will agree with me on #2.
His also saying because kovalev got stopped with a headgaurd against one of the best amateurs in modern time who's also a huge puncher his chinny But tua getting stopped with a headgaurd on against someone he outweighed by about 10 pounds means nothing because he gained half a stone when he became a pro and because of a extra few pounds he now had an iron chin
No logic to this man's thinking. Until Kovalev is stopped in Brutal Fashion by anyone that isnt considered a good puncher, superpimp not included. hits like a truck aswell. But only then can you call him Chinny. In the meantime Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev is GOAT. p4p Hardest punching boxer with Julian The Hawk Jackson.
Hey fuc.ker. I've taken the time to actually draw up the numbers from the tournaments listed on that site. If you've got a problem with them go take it up with them LOL. Must I upload an excel sheet for your lazy ass? So you say this fool has got an immense punch. Second only to a few other knobs - and we have to believe you. Well let me ask you this. Does he punch harder than Stevenson? Because that is the root of this discussion. Because if he doesnt punch as hard as him, well then your boy's got a problem. His so called 'iron chin' won't save him. If Kovalev hasn't changed significantly from the amateurs, he couldnt take that punch, he certainly isnt taking Stevenson's punches.
So know you make up false quotes by me? Hmm very sad indeed not only are a casual fan but your also a troll If you had even the vaguest understanding of amatuer boxing you would know them other too knobs are and know exactly how hard they hit but you don't yours casual fan Also since kovalev doesn't have same day weigh ins and comes to the ring at least 10 pounds heavier than he did in the amateurs does your tau logic hold up for him too? The Uzbek could hit harder than Stevenson for all we know, Stevenson couldn't make much of a dent in forfana he kept coming back his power could be over rated
Oh and he was fighting stiff competition in those first years was he? The TUA we know isn't a lean dude, he fought all bar perhaps one or two of his career defining fights at high weights. If you think TUA do you think of a slim 210 pound dude? Cmon man, dont be silly
Stevenson was Ko'd by Darnell Boone and dropped and hurt Fonfara. So Kovalev lands his Glass seeking Missile on superpimps glass chin its lights out for a month. So now we know your motive, it werent about dicussing Kovalevs punch resistance it was about you coming out as a supporter of the ******. Well done to you my friend your cover has been blown in quick Fashion it does not take long to worm out your kind. I Believe Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev would send adonis' skull straight through his skin and into the back rows in round 4.
HAH no one said Kovalev is chinny. The ******* that you are, can't even read. That's the problem here. I never said Kovalev is chinny. All I said was that he can't have an "IRON CHIN" if he gets dropped and stopped while wearing headgear and being hit with 12 ounce amateur gloves. With the usual caveats of course about a fighter changing between having been an amateur and pro of course - that much is implied everytime we talk about these amateur fights.
Your talking out your arse mate, Kovalev could have an iron chin for all we know, no one has hurt him in the pros
I really think we can all agree that the Pro Tua looked a lot different to the amateur Tua. Can the same be said of Kovalev is the question
Still the same guy Kovalev doesn't have same day weigh ins anore and after rehydrating is probebly 10-15 pounds heavier than he wa in to amateurs So if your logic works for Tua it can work for kovalev
i would say him coming into the ring 20lbs heavier, A better puncher, stronger man. Would contribute to him being alot better, i also suspect john david jackson has refined is game alot more, making him more patient to do more than 3rounds. pick his shots and think more. Because as you SHOULD know the Pro game is alot different in the way you fight. David Tua was a pup there but lets just say the Tuaminator was never known for his frightfully slick skills. he got bigger, stronger, fitter and possibly added a few more strings to his bow. By the way. Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev has alot more skill than David Tua. :hi:
