Kovalev intentionally went easy on Isaac - He's got Ward's camp fooled

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Primal Pledge, Jul 12, 2016.

  1. Let me tell you boys something, Kovalev knew Ward's would be paying a close eye on this bout. He knew his scouts would be looking for *****s in his armour meanwhile looking at his strengths.

Cunningly Kovalev masked his strengths and exaggerated his weaknesses and went easy on that boy

Watch the fight again, there were ample opportunities for Kovalev to take that **** out but he wanted to see what he could do because he knew Chimbella's style was similar to ward i.e awkward, slick and a good jab.

The reasonhe did that is to lull Ward into a false sense of security and the whole boxing community have now made Ward favourite and saying it's going to be easy work for Ward and this will no doubt put more pressure on Ward and can potentially fall into complacency.

In November, you will see the REAL kovalev who will not be holding ANYTHING back. He will use all the negative criticism that has been made and all the doubts about his ability from Ward's fanboys and rechannell that energy into every single punche to reverberate against Ward's fragile glass skull.

I thought about this possibility, it is not senseless, but we'll never now.

He did the same for popkins getting caught by Caparello. Instead el capo wasnt tough enough to last the rounds.

No one intentionally looks like **** to trick and opponent that he is already signed to fight. Plus who gets hit to fool a guy to get in the ring and actually beat the guy they were tricking?

Tell me now you stupid ******* Primal Ass. All that cum in your ass has trickled to your pea brain.

    This clearly isn't true.

I will say that nobody has ever looked good against Chilemba in the past. He's a very durable guy and Kovalev will have no doubt learned a lot from this fight.

Not quite sure what all the hoohah is about really. It's not like Issac has been blasted out by anyone else is it?

Yeah I don't know about all that.

During the fight though I was thinking that he wasn't as aggressive as he normally is so he could get a good number of rounds in

Likely though, that Chilemba put on a career best performance and was able to compete.

Haha. The things some posters say is just hilarious. He didn't look amazing...it's ok. Doesn't mean he loses to Ward.

Bullsh!t. He couldn't get Chilemba out of there period. Kovalev was putting the effort in. Chilemba just came to fight. And Chilemba's jab was landing at will, and flying Kovalev's head multiple times. There were no smoke and mirrors by Kovalev. And there won't be any by Ward either. Ward has to be concerned about getting hit clean by punches he doesn't see or clubbing flush power shots. But, that's it. Kovalev has no chance in outboxing him.

Kovalev was frustrated in this fight. He was trying to take him out and actually hurt Chilema on 3 occasions. Chilema is durable AF. He gave Kovalev good work to the body and caught him with that jab all night long. Kovalev was in a tough fight. Great for boxing

He won nearly every round. I mean come on man. He won like 10 rounds against a top 3-4 LHW in the world.

Then why all the excuse making from Kovalev fans? Kovalev was having flashbacks, Kovalev was having menstrual cramps, Kovalev was getting hit in the face on purpose to fool Ward. There shouldn't be any need for excuses, Kovalev won.

I really have no clue. He won the fight going away. No idea why people are saying he looked bad dominating a very good fighter.
