Kovalev has been asking to fight Stevenson, but Stevenson does not want to fight Kovalev. Instead, Stevenson went to Showtime because HBO wanted to have Kovalev/Stevenson fight..........................Hopkins said he would never fight Kovalev or Stevenson, but said he wanted to fight Mayweather. Hopkins will fight Shumenov because he does not have many fights under his belt and Hopkins will have the fight in Washington, DC, with his judges, referee and boxing commission. I will never forget the bias against Khan when Khan was cheated by Peterson's referee, judges and boxing commission. Peterson was on roids, but nothing was done about it. Europeans are hated in Washington, DC. Hopkins knows that all he has to do is be standing to win a decision, Hopkins does not even have to throw one punch. Watch the bias..........

Man, these russky's really have struck fear in their respective divisions
like i've never seen before. Their rivals are blantantly and cowardly
avoiding them for not much more in earning potential, no matter what
these supposed know-it-alls say. Kovalev and Golovkin are the baddest
men in boxing, bar none. It's like they're the plague or something.
If this is going to keep up, then we might as well just watch the promoters
fight one another in the ring. It's all about them now anyway.

"Better to be rich than to be great"

I'll never forget that quote. It is the defining quote of this era.
