Seriously, bro, I haven't seen anybody on here break Kovlev down more insightfully than you have. :good
:rofl:rofl:rofl so Kovalev won't be allowed to KO Cleverly in the first fight, but will be in the second? i'd really like you to spell it all out with a clear description on why this will happen. who's going to stop him from knocking him out? who... :huh
love the way people keep going on about this power of Kovalev. he doesn't even hit that hard. there's some weight and snap to them, but not crushing.
I think the guys who actually faced Kovalev disagree with your statement, I mean, one of his opponents (Roman Simakov RIP) died after their fight because the damage he sustained was so severe
you don't need to be a big puncher in order to do long term damage to someone. look at the Botile vs Ingle fight.
Where are these guys coming up with Kovalev being HBO's house fighter? He has never fought on the network and for his first appearance he is going into the champs backyard, probably with a local ref and at least one local judge. Poor Cleverly! HBO must really be out to get him. Do not take my word for it. There is a YT vid of him crying about it. I guess a career high payday with Worldwide exposure in your own backyard, replete with judge and officials is not enough. Cleverly still has to invent a me against the World mentality. Actually it shows he is intimidated by Kovalev.
1st Point. Cleverly IS the champion of the World. Do you want Cleverly to travel to Russia for this fight? 2nd point. Cleverly ASKED for this fight. While the likes of Hopkins and your other fighters over there said "Who is Kovalev..."
I have heard Cleverly intervied several times and his nature does not fit his handle. Perhaps Nathan Gromlessly would be more appropriate...
****ing noob. No one is saying that Kovalev is the hardest puncher in the history of human civilization, but he is presently one of the hardest punchers north of 168 and south of the big boys. If you fail to recognize as much, you're either dumb as **** with the boxing IQ of a rotten piece of squash, or you are an inveterate UK nut hugger. In your case, I suspect both apply.
