That’s why it’s so important that Frank comes out to regulate. If they have a pre fight press conference, Frank should come in mid-way WWE-style to this classic to put a stop to any shenanigans:

I expect to see Frank dust off one of his fur coats for this trip.

I disagree with this, Alvarez looked awful against Kovalev who is def on the slide.

I think Yarde has a punchers chance here.

I don’t see this being a one sided beatdown. Kovalev knows Yarde has power and was tentative in his last fight and I think he will be again on Saturday. Appreciate that he was stopped by the same bloke the fight before so he was probably gun shy, but I expect him to box Yarde in a similar fashion to when beat Alvarez in the rematch. He won’t want to trade and Yarde knows he will have to put it on him to have any real chance of winnng.

This will not be an easy fight for Kovalev. Yarde to grab this opportunity and go to his body early, no faffing around with feints etc. Intriguing fight.

Maybe its my age, but for me a grown man asking another grown man if they can take a picture with them is a bit wonky. I would feel like a right t*t doing that. Maybe if it was flipping Erik Morales or something, Roberto Duran, then yeah... but certainly not Anthony beeping Yarde!

Nice enough lad n all, but what has he done to be worthy of admiration!? Not a man on my street who wouldn't fight Kovalev for half the money he is getting.

Id love Yarde to win just to see the meltdown and people dismiss Kovalev as over the hill.

I cant make a case for him winning as i know next to nothing about him but id love to see how the opinion switches and nobody give Yarde an ounce of credit

If Yarde wins, I will give him full credit for beating a fighter who while not at his prime best, is still world class. He probably won't though.

Yarde could unify the division and his critics would still moan about him 'ducking' Hosea Burton.

No we wouldnt, if he wins I’ll give him full credit, he won’t though.

You need to remember why he has critics, about 5 fights ago he got called out by quite a few British fighters but he told everyone he was beyond British and euro level and deserved to be on the world stage, fair enough if he believed that but instead of fighting anyone with a pulse since then he’s just chatted rubbish and fought blown up super middleweight bums

About bloody time but he’s not prepared for it the right way. 5 fights ago if he had gone in with Craig Richards and karo Murat I would’ve been happy
