Kovalev certainly has the best chance of anyone of beating Ward from 160-175. Kovalev impressed me with how he boxed against Hopkins and he seems to be getting better all the time. Against a master boxer like Ward, it would obviously be difficult but his patience and concussive power makes me think he could take it. Ward is extremely physically strong in the clinch/on the inside - I'd be interested to see if that carried up against a big Light-Heavyweight. Controlling the inside is a big part of Ward's dominance.
That's what makes it such an intriguing clash, both Kovalev and Beterbiev are truly savage punchers. I'm racking my brains trying to think of the last time we saw a match up between such heavy hitters in any division.
Jake Lamotta doesn't believe half the nonsense he writes about Ward and if he does he needs to book himself an appointment with a psychiatrist. lol
Hello mate, I'm alright just getting over a bout of illness but feeling a lot better now. How's things with you?
No, I'm afraid it wasn't due to that lol. Nothing too serious, no. Will do. Post some up in the lounge if you get a chance. Yeah, both are really exciting match ups. I can't see them being anything other than that either, given their respective styles and the crazy power all of them possess. Cheers, you too.
I would favor kova to win impressively, a stoppage wouldn't surprise me. Imo no fighter under 175 can beat him, and only one or two at 175... until he starts to decline.
Not a socialist. I'm not that nutty. Humans aren't built for true socialism. Just on things like healthcare and schooling. A semi-socialist if you will. Better than a bigoted racist either way..:yep
Translation: A goofly looking White guy from Ohio who jock rides Black fighters attempts to take the moral high ground by crying racist and bigot from a wobbly bully pulpit.
