Kovalev's jaw is very suspect it seems

A garbage type of post. Kovalev has a solid chin. And Hopkins does not hit hard enough to alter the course of the of the fight if he lands 1 or 2 good ones.

The fact that folks are running through a compare and contrast based on what Boone has or hasnt accomplished vs the likes of Ward, Kov and Stevenson speaks volumes about the quality of this thread. Lets also look at what Emanual Augustus did vs Floyd and Micky Ward and now lets base our findings to make a proper prediction on how Floyd would fair vs Ward....come on I'm coordinating a meeting regarding the subject afterschool on the short bus I've already received confirmation from Farmboxer and MVC. lol

Kovalev does not have a glass chin. When Pascal landed his best punch on Kovalev, Kovalev did not even blink. Kovalev knocked Boone out. Boone knocked Stevenson out and knocked Ward down. Ward refused to fight Stevenson, even at 168, called out live on HBO. When asked if he would fight Kovalev, Ward said that Kovalev was too big for him, yet Ward fought as a light heavyweight as an amateur...............Kovalev has a good defense, he just let his defense go after hurting Pascal, but then he adjusted, started using his jab again, left hook and his right hook as Hopkins pointed out. He got the knockout.................Fonara can't fight, has no defense at all, yet he went the distance with Stevenson and even knocked him down................

 

His chin looked pretty darn solid with Pascal landing those bombs.
