He's quite easy to dislike in the build up to fights and also when in the ring he has a bit of a ugly streak but when you put all that aside and hear him talk on Sky or Ifilm and even on here whether he be doing punditry or just giving insight he comes across as a real down to earth guy who knows his stuff and for that I have become and instant fan.People have got to understand that boxing is a job at the end of the day, other guys are going in there to hurt you and take food off your family's table so having a nasty streak in the build up can be quite understandable, every fighter handles it differently and thats the way Tony handles his.Really wish him all the best against Stevenson on paper it seems a hard task but I think its a winnable fight,Stevenson is NOT superman and has been knocked out before,if its happened once it can sure as hell happen again.

Bellew has gone up in my book coming on here and putting his point of view across.how easy it would be to just lurk or have a fake account .
i personally think the very top of the tree may be a bit to far for him but stranger things have happened.
i wouldnt fancy taking on Stevenson because of his k.o power.its a long way back from a bad k.o. and its a short enough career.

It baffles me that people take apart Stevenson's resume (saying stuff like "Dawson was past prime" etc) to try and make a case for Bellew winning. Has Bellew beat anyone as good as Dawson or Cloud?

I agree , its ludicrous. In fact Boxers cant win these days because if they beat somebody (Lucas,Canelo for example) then they become average or crap overnight in some peoples opinions.

I had it a draw, but it doesn't matter anyway as Clev is a level below Stevenson and Kovalev just on power alone, as they offer such a bigger threat.

No need to have a go just because i rate Stevenson and Kovalev more than Bellew, i could call you a Bellewtard but i'm not a 5 year old so i wont bother Ha.

Its not just the power, watch the Cloud fight, Superman has got some nice speed, timing and counters to go with his power. He has more to his game than Bellew who i like, i just think he loses to this guy.

I think It's wrong that people discredit Stevensons wins, he done proper jobs on them both, I'll be totally honest and say I think Dawson completely under estimated him but I also think he scared Cloud as soon as he landed that left in the first round, from there on in it was purely survival from Cloud which disappointed me but I saw him live V Hopkins and watched him against Campillo so was not at all surprised..

I rate Stevenson highly, I said he was better than people think but that's when you stand in front of him or try and press him, he's a deadly counter puncher but how good is he at everything else? I'll say this much, I'll bring more to the table than Cloud did and I'll show him more respect than Dawson did.. I believe I can beat him but fully understand why I'm being written off. On paper it looks a non brainier but I'll show what I can do on November 30th in Quebec :good

Tremendous post, i can't argue with your points and you can't do more than try your best ( i don't think Cloud did his best, he almost gave up). Stevenson might underestimate you as well which could be a plus for you but regardless i'm sure you will put up a better effort than Dawsona and Cloud.

I'll be honest and say that i expect Stevenson to win by stoppage, but favorites do lose in Boxing (wasn't Dawson the favorite?) and good luck to you Tony and i hope the best man on the night wins, as it should always be the case.

And what kind of ******** are you?:think

I'd say the ****-face-uncle-****ing kind. But that's only an assumption. One might disagree.

Well good luck luck tony, I agree you do deserve respect for willing to go against the very best. Judging from your posts on here you sound like a decent guy and hope things go your way.

I just dont see how you are going to overcome a slick boxer like stevenson who is southpaw when you struggled with chilemba who came with a similar unorthodox style. fwiw I thought you done enough to win against cleverly, but he again is someone is is on the fringe of true elite level.

Stevenson is at that stage and brings devastating power. Your team will have to come up with a very good gameplan to nullify and disarm his left cross.

Your best chance of winning is outboxing stevenson and frustrating him at range because getting into a brawl style fight with him I think he will come out on top due to possessing the greater power.

I don't like your assertion that everyone who doesn't post with their real name are cowards, as many choose not to out of privacy reasons as a few employers will do internet searches on their name and then find unsavory posts which could place their job at risk. Which is another reason why I choose to refrain from social media networks

As a fighter your position isn't on the line, only reputation, if anything you have more reason to post your real name, as you can potentially gain a further following
