    this suspension of GBP is way overblown. Its not like they had anyrthing planned for NYC in the next 3 months anyway.

    if they covered the story...it's just to save face and put it in their own words... oscar runs that mag. oscar is golden boy productions. I'm sure the story is covered in other magazines... why should ring magazine pretend the story don't exist? that would make them look less credible.

    HBO allocated $750,000 for the Nate Campbell vs Victor Ortiz fight (on the Khan Malignaggi undercard). Campbell was paid $150,000, Ortiz got around $100,000 and the other $500,000 is unaccounted for (probably went to Khan as he has a big guaranteed purse deal with GBP). It's a violation of the Muhammad Ali Act as they didn't declare it.
