Calzaghe. The consumate master. Even with hands completely ravaged by injury, self proclaimed legends such as Hopkins and Jones had no answer.

For all the jealous haters, Joe retired undefeated. Jones, Hopkins, Eubank, Kessler and Lacy all gave it their best shot, yet were all HUMILIATED in the process.

Jones - The master showboater gets his own medicine by the bucketload
Hopkins - So deperately overmatched he feigns injuries for a FOUR minute timeout, duly obliged by his partner Cortez
Eubank - The iron jawed genius KD bymrookie Joe in the opening SECONDS - Calslappy indeed
Kessler - Great effort but not good enough for the master
Lacy - The 168lb Tyson shut out and absolutely ruined

    Calzaghe. Legend.

Being honest everyone got caught up in the media hype behind LACY....but lets look at this realistically.

He was Showtimes only Marquee fighter after Tszyu got whooped by Rickster.

Showtime had to build him up because they had Joe on their books....

it made sense they built it as the most credible fight since JONES vs TONEY...etc

    but lets be honest...

Lacy struggled in his fights prior to Caslzaghe....SHEIKA (he was fortunate to get the decision) then he KOS Pemberton *38 and chinny) and Robin Reid (35 and past it)

Its amazing what media propaganda can do to influence people....

I mean look the British media have convinced most of ignorant British fans that Joes a Legend!!

7-5 points win over journeyman Omar Sheika, in Lacy's "prime".

    Lacy was never that good.

All Showtime hype, because he had some power in an otherwise lifeless division.

Call me when Slappy faces a great figther in his prime. Won't happen because he's retired right? How convenient.

You forgot to mention that Jones and BHOP put Joe on his backside...despit being sevrely past it ...werent they 40+43.....

    Oh...Joe was only recently a P4P fighter....2-3 years..

Jones was P4P 10 years....Hopkins was P4P fighter for at least 10 also.

You see it easy to maintain a level of consistancy at the top for a short period of time...

Alot harder to do over a longer period of time when you keep testing yourself...

Hopkins Jones Legacy' had already been secured pre JOE.

Joes legacy depended on these 2 old guys...that should tell you alot.

I'd ****ing give anything to see Slappy fight Paul Williams. Even though Paul is smaller, at 168 wow Joe would get schooled at his own game.

That's a great idea........Paul could whup Floyd's ass first than Calzaghe.

Oh wait, they're both ascared to get in the ring.....

That's what's funny about you.......Calzaghe and Floyd are basically the same person.

    :good

It wont tell him a thing since he's too engulfed in Joe's nuts to hear or see reason
