Lamont Peterson would beat and possibly stop Keith Run Time Thurman

It all depends what version of Lamont showed up. He does throw enough shots usually to make things competitive, I just wonder if he has the power to get Thurman's respect and not allow Keith to jump in on him.

If Lamont stays in perpetual motion while keeping his punch output high, he could make it a competitive match. I do wonder how his chin would hold up if (when) he starts to get tagged by Thurman. Smart money is Thurman winning by decision.

 

As one of Peterson's few fans on here, Thurman is a very
bad matchup. Look at his comprehensive points loss against
Bradley, that tells you all you need to know about why he'd
lose to Thurman.

Lamont is a stalker-light, meaning he stalks but doesn't cut
the ring off properly at times, he's also not very fleet footed
when chasing and plants (Like Danny), Bradley beat him by
moving in and out, landing quick shots and being evasive.

Thurman is a level above (in my opinion) than Bradley in this
aspect and has heavy hands to boot. Thurman would win a
wide points victory over Lamont.

I've always thought Lamont stylistically would've given Floyd
one of his toughest fights though.

 

Thurman would whoop Petersons ass.
