Satterfield was fighting at a super middleweight for the LaMotta fight.

Satterfield was KO'd 13 times in his career. He was chinny

LaMotta only had 30 KOs in 106 fights. He was no KO artist. He didn't KO WWs Zivic or Bell.

Davis fought at weights up to the mid 150s. LaMotta wouldn't have a 15 pound edge on him if they fought.

If Rocky Graziano died in 1945 instead of Davis, would you have thought he had no chance against the 10-15 pound bigger Zale?

LaMotta should be the strong favorite in this fight. Mostly because he's better than Davis. But I don't see this as a total no hoper for Bummy.
