The first fight Martinez had 2-3 weeks to prepare for PW. I blame it on that.
Martinez does take breaks in the mid rounds which is when PW took avantage and made the fight close. A well prepared MArtinez would have stopped PW in the first fight. Look at what Martinez did to Pavlik who is better than PW.

Lara i have said is the goods for a while. I may be wrong judging from the Molina fight but i honestly think that was just a bad performance.
PW is too basic of a fighter to beat a guy like Lara.

Lara is no puncher and barely uses his legs. No way Lara can handle PWs volume

Looks like Lara is saying it's less than 2 months until PW leaves the ring on a stretcher.

Lara aint no Martinez tho...I think Williams workrate and inside game will be too much for Lara.

It very well could be. Laras weakness is the inside game and PW weakness is someone with good timing.

This fight is awesome for HBO to make. Much better than Ishida.

With that glass jaw, Williams is always one punch away from losing, but I doubt Lara has the experience or overall ability to get the money shot in. That said, I wouldn't be shocked if he did.

Williams Chin has been Shattered. Sometimes when a fighter gets that Glass Jaw cracked it never fully comes back. Williams mental aspect will be huge though in this fight. How has he recovered mentally since that brutal KO?

That being said I don't know if Lara can do it.

Is this the same Lara that gave hatton trouble in sparring during his fight with pac?

this. Once Pwilly gets in his groove I cant see Lara outworking him. Hes going to have to KO Pwilly early or do a Quintana on him not standing in front of Pwilly. I think Pwilly just has too much pro experience for Lara and overwhelm him. Williams just deceptively strong and Lara cant handle pressure too much.

Some big mouth will eat his words soon! PW is still a beast despite his loss to Martinez!

I doubt those words came from Lara. The dude has always been very humble in his interviews.
