Sick, didn't even know this was happening.

I'm a big fan of Williams, great fighter to watch, so I'll be backing him here. Doesn't seem to be much love for him since the Martinez fight but he was pretty unlucky getting caught with a bomb like that.

As for Lara, well I've never been that impressed with him whenever I've seen him personally but I hear good things about him. Good to see he's finally stepping up though so now we get a chance to see what he's made of.

I like this tough talk from Lara but I wouldn't expect it. Williams is the far more proven fighter. I can't wait for this fight.

Lara will beat Williams, no doubt. It's already known that Lara trained less than 1 week to prepare for Molina as Shields was busy in Ireland training Rigondeaux and they thought of Molina as just another tune-up. Also, Lara was having some outside issues in his personal life as well. Molina is very underrated and has pretty good boxing skills, this is why he drew with Lara. But a well trained Lara rips through Molina, no doubt.

This time Lara will have plenty of time to prepare for Williams. He will have around 7 weeks to prepare with Shields. Williams doesn't have the boxing skills to keep Lara away, Lara will stop him and will make everyone put aside his last poor performance. :good

This is honestly the Summer fight I'm looking most forward to. Much more so than JCC-Zbik, Alvarez-Rhodes, Cloud-Mack, Matthysse-Alexander...even slightly more than Klitschko-Haye and Froch-Johnson. It's just the PERFECT crossroads fight for these two. **** like this needs to happen more often.

    Thanks Saul! :good

But it seems that there are fans here that don't know ( or don't want to know ) about why Lara drew with Molina. I already explained it and they keep on bringing the draw. Lara hardly trained, had personal issues and even had tooth problems in the only week he actually had to prepare. :-(

as much as i like Lara i dont think he's gonna have an easy night w PW
i wish the predictions of u -Lara beating PW -will turn real, but Lara have never been any close to someone like PW.
It will be a heck of a test

Well, I just new that you were going to say that. I really don't know what's your opinion on Solis-Klitshcko but everyone saw that his knee gave out on him. Some called it a TKO loss but the vast majority saw that he went down basically by himself and couldn't continue. He was so frustrated and ashamed of what happened that he asked Vitaly to do it again for FOR FREE but Vitaly never responded. So, neither you or me would know for sure what would have happened if that injury never occured. :good

I sure hope Lara can focus on this fight, he will have to be at his best. One thing Lara has going for him is that he is a southpaw with good speed and footwork.

I don't know if Lara has ever fought against someone as tall as Williams who has a 82" reach, but then again Williams doesn't really fight tall. Martinez pretty much laid out the blue print for Lara to study. I'm curious to see if Williams can bring something new to his arsenal against Lara.

This is a gooing to be a good scrap!!!
