Well, I did have Solis getting the better of Vitali in that fight before his knees gave out.

I'm sure Lara is not going to collapse due to bad knees like his fellow Cubano. If Williams shows the slightest sign of being gunshy or doubt, Lara is going to take him out. I think the outcome of the fight is going to be determined on how Williams has recovered from the Martinez II fight (mentally and physicaly).

One thing about Williams is he does throw alot of punches and he is better than Lara. For everyone saying Lara didnt train for Molina there are no excuses, and he was awarded a draw but he lost that fight.

No he didn't loss that fight, he got out hustle but he was not beat, the best punches of the fight were connected by Lara, the problem was that he didn't do enough of that, every time he went on the offense Molina was outclassed, but again that was his and trainer fault, you take every fight as it is the most important in your career and I'm glad that he got that scared, he should know better in the future and is showing that he got some balls and he will take on the best the division has to offer.

Wouldn't be surprised if Williams gives him hell and/or wins.

Williams may still be asleep from the Sexy Sergio KO, therefore his Chin may be on display during this fight at some point.

Of course no one should b surprised, PW have to b the favorite in this fight and should win, he is a heck of a fighter but if you want to b a Champion you have to b able to beat PW or a least give him hell on a losing effort, PW is not shot and he is in his prime he never saw the punch and those are the ones that can KO anybody, he went 12th rounds with hands of Paris when AM was at his peak, we have to congratulated Lara for taking this fight so soon, just like Rigondeaux did against Cordova and almost all the others defectors that are taking fights against fighters with winning records, Acosta, Franco, Perez, etc..

Williams is coming off a brutal, brutal KO, and a long layoff, and this is who they get for his comeback fight? wtf..... :-(

Its a good fight but really, would have liked to see Williams get his feet back under him first.

Seems like plenty of people are actually picking Lara, but I really, really, really hope that Williams wins this....

My friend, it's one thing to make up excuses and the other is to state the facts. No one can train properly if he was training himself and only trained for 1 week. That's ok and I understand that people are always going to hate without solid reasons but I am sure Lara will step up and deliver against Williams. Oh, and if Lara TKO's Williams, will you give him real credit for that or will you say that Williams was overrated? :-(

Did Lara not just lose or I guess draw on Friday Night Fights FFS? Now he's going to put Williams to sleep...I mean are we talking about the same Paul "The Punisher" Williams? So some of you believe that Lara who's best win is...exactly, is going to KO Williams? God Damn the world is coming to an end. No disrespect to Lara, he's a good up and coming fighter and he has some nice tools, but where was this awesome KO power against Molina?
