Williams by wide UD or late stoppage. If the journeyman Molina can beat Lara with workrate then imagine what someone like Williams with more power, better workrate and more skills than Molina will do to him. P-Will to win big

i really hate to agree with you.
it reminds me Hurtado fighting Pernell Whitaker and then Kostya Tzsyu,he was sacrificed when his career was going up and finally destroyed by these 2 HOF...he gave sweetpea everything he could take and got KO at the very end after winning almost every round. Then against Tzyu he fought only with a few weeks rest after his last fight-also put Tzyu on his ass a couple times before getting brutalized.
Hope Lara isnt the same story...he's never been in the ring with someone like PW

Molina has improved,i woudnt call him a journey man, he was clearly robbed against Junior. And right after Lara when to winning by KO in good fashion.
    Give the kid more credit

big fan of gamboa. been to 3 of his fights at Primm.

Donaire would send Gamboa back to cuba on a refugee boat, but in a coma.:yep

Gamboa sends Donaire on a stretcher back to East Timor with the first punch of the fight. Donaire's got nothing on Gamboa. Rigondeaux does the same with Donaire just at weigh-in staredown.

Doesn't make sense from PW's POV. Not much to gain and a lot to lose whereas Lara has tons to gain and not much to lose.

Cubans never think Cubans can lose.

also, "tooth problems" ... LOL. that's why he didn't beat Molina.

Lara lost a fight to a ****ing journeyman post-prospect who he was supposed to blow out in 3 rounds--he got a gift draw.

Are people still excited about this dude? He's a lighter Chad Dawson without as much upside.

    Whatever.

Nah, it was a punch he kept saw coming but didn't keep his chin down or protect himself from. Looking at the fight Sergio kept snapping his head back with the sraight left and I just felt a ko would come but not that soon. PW has taken punches from Margarito, Martinez(I've been trying to tell everyone that he was a decent puncher before the ko over Williams), and Cintron who even wobbled him. His chin ain't what it was and you don't turn from Marg to Sweet Pea in one fight.

It would be a good fight and I am looking foward to it. I still think PW will be too much for Lara.

On a side note, I think an Ishida vs Molina undercard will be nice too!

Williams might be shot. Now we know he's going to get a fight with Pac.
