7 or 8 to 5 or 4. He landed more and threw less. Everybody is mad at him for not playing into canelos style and its absurd. Canelo pressed the action but was not effective for most of the fight. Remember willie pep? He won rounds by just making his opponent miss. Why is this different?

Nah... Lara's body was treated like the late John Bohnam's drum kit during a Zeppelin show.

More or less what I saw. Lara won the fight, but just like Trout said: "Canelo is good for boxing."

No, he didn't. Canelo landed 37 more power shots, (according to ShoStats) and he was landing the harder shots. Lara's knees buckled from a body shot in about the 8th round as well. Those body shots were taking their toll.

Jabbing and running from post to post doesn't win a boxing match.

The same stats you refer show Lara landing 10 more punches than Canelo.

Power Punches > Jabs -- Canelo landed 37 more power shots. This isn't the amateurs... impact actually matters. Not just "scoring a point."

And again: Running from post to post isn't "ring generalship." Canelo owned that ring. If Lara was the "ring general" the fight would have been taking place in the center of the ring. It wasn't. Lara was running for dear life because he kept getting pinned on the ropes.

10 hard hooks to the body is worth alot more than 10 flicking jabs to the face. You don't know **** about boxing.
