Near pick 'em. Louis wins a tight 15 rd verdict, unpopular in many corners. Larry didn't have the footwork or caginess of Walcott, Louis scores a knckdown in rds 7 and 12.

Holmes schools Louis over 15 rds and really puts on the juice and pain on Louis very late and forces the TKO in rds 12 thru 14.... Louis has moments, but is too flustered with Holmes' jab, speed, size and savvy as a boxer/puncher........

    HOLMES!:deal:bbb:hat

I will take Louis, I see him taking Holmes out via the TKO late..

Holmes would land his fair share of jabs and crosses but Louis would continue to move in and put tremendous pressure on Holmes, Holmes may even score a knock down or two I see them of the flash variety similar to the ones that Walcott felled Louis with, but we all know that Louis was on the downside of his career.. The Prime Louis I see getting clipped early maybe in say round 2 or 3 but when Holmes moves to him to follow up he feels the thunder in Joes hands, Louis was a wicked puncher who threw deadly combinations!! I see Holmes taking a beating in the second half of the fight, I don't feel as though he would be able to bounce and get on his toes like he would want to because of the punishment he will have taken to the head and body early.. Louis tko12 for me!! And let me state I am a huge Holmes fan I have him #3 on my all time Great Heavyweights list behind only #1 Louis and #2 Ali.. But Louis is not the best match up for Larry imo... I see others further down my list who would actually trouble Joe more based on style and we all know styles can make fights...
