The feeling is mutual my friend. I'm amazed that you & Pimp etc REALLY believe Floyd & Canelo are ATG's. You have to be turning a blind eye to the blatant corruption or you achieving the greatest trolling successof a forum in history

 

Before you accuse people you need to take specks out of your own eyes. For you to call anyone a troll when you are Life President of the Mayweather trolling club. We know Floyd is an ATG and Canelo is producing the bodywork of an ATG but would prefer to assess him when his time is done. NSAC is a respected commission and arguably the best sports commission in the world.

But Roy had a fetish for saying the exact opposite to what Jim, Larry and Max would say. He was wrong too, many times. I've always hated the "I did this, you didn't, you only watched" argument. When it comes to sports, you might not have the ability to perform at a high level, but it does not mean you cannot analyze it well if you watch it long enough. Watching boxing IS how you get better at analyzing it. This is why fighters themselves watch tape and have a trainer. When you watch from the outside, you have a better perspective.

But yeah, he came across as an a-hole sometimes and that prompted them to want to disagree with him. But I think it's unprofessional. Put him down with real arguments, not "lol, I boxed though". This is why Paulie is a better commentator, he doesn't do that, although there's no Larry in his team.

 

the thing is merchant would come across like a “know it all” as a “matter of fact” kind of guy. Don’t get it wrong I liked the guy.
But the reason they would pull rank is because the guy stated his opinion like fact.
Like he really knows.

Larry while knowledgeable, didn’t truly know boxing from their perspective. & he was quite mouthy with out true hands on experience.

Roy loved doing it, I remember him laughing when merchant called him on it.

Im almost positive Paulie would pull rank on Larry if he was forced to call a fight with him.
