I was surprised at the ease Froch ran thru those 2 with. But the simple fact that he won wasn't surprising.

well i think this thread is more dedicated to big ppv matches which lately are foregone conclusions

the biggest fights involving Floyd and Manny and such are never upsets

if Tim Bradley gets say a Floyd Mayweather fight and wins that would be two massive upsets in a row

Mosley had a chance if he stopped Floyd in round 2

Klitschko vs. Mormeck and Thompson II. That match making was pretty upsetting.

He was in my mind, maybe not a massive favourite but I thought he`d be too big for pac at the time.

Garcia was favourite vs Morales, and quite a bit aswell. Martinez lost P williams 1st fight although I had him winning by a point. In the Second fight he was favoured to win over Martinez.

Hopkins has been underdog way too many times, illogical bookmakers, Underdog vs Tarver - Thought he would win clear UD, underdog vs Pascal - Thought easy UD (closer than i expected it to be), Underdog vs Pavlik - Knew he would beat Pavlik (thought it would be close)

Hopkins should have never been underdog for those fights and that's not with hindsight it was obvious to most real boxing fans that he was going to win.

Was he ****, Garcia was the favourite both times, Morales looked **** vs Cano in the previous fight, his heart alone dug out the win for him.

It's what majority of people think.

I thought close first half, pacquiao takes over and stops him round 9 - Was shocked by the fight, although predicted a stoppage, I thought it would be a great fight for a while.

Hopkins hasn't had an upset win since Pavlik IIRC

Glen Johnson over Roy Jones and the Magic Man.

Keep in mind that he'd also pulled another very, very big upset over heavily favored Eric Harding two fights earlier as well and was also the underdog in the first Woods fight which was a close but competitive win for him in the eyes of pretty much everyone.

That's a pretty badass streak of defying the odds makers.

What, watch the fight again, cano showed more heart, morales showed skill, Cano couldn't deal with the feints and accurate punches of Morales. Morales got back something with the layoff, after the war vs maidana it went away again, he looked in good shape vs Maidana (although not peak shape), against garcia and Cano he looked out of shape.

Wow was he really? Do you have a source for the odds? I thought he'd win it easy and that the odds were even?

This right here, he was the clear underdog in both of those fights.
