Last night proved just how wrong Stevenson is for Sergey!

Agnew is basic as hell... no lateral/head movement or slickness, very basic high guard defense, no power or handspeed - perfect cannon fodder for Kovalev. He just stood in front of Kovalev like a punching bag, yet Kovalev still only landed at a 27% connect rate. Agnew is normally a come forward puncher but was still having success operating out of his comfort zone tagging Kovalev with counterpunches. Imagine how an elite counterpuncher with devastating power and fast hands would exploit Kovalev...

Power, movement, slickness and fast hands = goodnight Sergey

I agree. He would be tagged hard by Stevenson.

One would go down for sure.

Tony Bellew managed to land on Stevenson, but Kovalev will be too slow? GTFO

They would both land on eachother.

But i think Stevenson is faster and has one punch Knock out power.

    Who know who would win.

 Agnews defense is terrible, he just stands right in front of you with his hands up and doesnt move his head. Stevenson is infinitely harder to hit than Agnew

Even if you think it's stylistically not a great matchup for Sergey, fact is that Stevenson's got a glass jaw and Kovalev is a murderous puncher, all Kovalev has to do is land 1 punch and Stevenson is sleeping.

that's why Stevenson was sporting a bloody nose from round 3? Bellew didn't land much, but he managed to land on Stevenson, and if that's the case Kovalev will most certainly find Adonis as well

Exactly what Stevenson could do to Kovalev too.

Kovalevs jaw is no more proven than Stevensons. As far as im aware Stevenson was never knocked out cold iwith headgear on like Sergey was.

And Stevenson is a lot more likely to land big first than vice versa

Kovalev has a better jaw than Stevenson, Stevenson was KTFO by Boone. And yeah, that's what it's gonna come down to, who lands it first. While Stevenson is better defensively keep in mind also that Kovalev could knock Stevenson out with either hand, while Stevenson can probably only do so with his left.
