He lost at Cruiser, too. (originally it was a draw before Tarver's positive drostanolone test, but he should have lost - and you'd have to be a fool to believe Tarver wouldn't outbox him just the same with or without drostanolone in his system - which, by the way, never was proven with B samples, and Tarver does maintain his innocence...)
He is... the fight someone decent/someone juiced up blueprint has been torn up again. Bumbashing is the way to go :bbb You don't really believe he was innocent right IB? :blood
Did you guys hear what Ortiz's manager blamed for his nandrolone positive? Eating horse meat. :blood Ortiz then refuted it during the commission hearing and simply plead ignorance as to how it ended up in his system. (and reportedly was pretty convincing, breaking into tears and everything) The only athlete I've heard of admitting to eating horse meat is Alistair Overeem (mainly because the consumption of horses isn't legal in most countries) - but even there, many have speculated that Overeem was only saying that in order to mask his own proven steroid use.
Why are you so married to the idea that he isn't? There was a positive A sample. He said it was a false positive. Until there is a positive B sample to go with that neither side is proven correct. AFAIK that never actually happened, for whatever reason.
:conf Last I heard, Tarver was publicly demanding it be released as part of his appeal of his suspension, because he was certain it would be negative and exonerate him. Then... nothing. I've never been able to find anything online about what came of that. So, it was either lost/destroyed, or they just refused his demanded to actually test it for whatever reason, or something. You'd figure if they had it and tested it and it came up negative, his name would've been cleared and the draw reinstated on his record and the suspension lifted, and he wouldn't have been absent from Showtime for so long (they were originally supposed to give him the benefit of the doubt in awaiting the B sample before suspending him from on-air duties). However, if positive we also would have definitely heard about it and Tarver wouldn't be able to profess his innocence, as he pretty much continues to.
Yeah. It strikes me from the sound of the hearing that Ortiz and his manager didn't really get on the same page to game plan what they were going to say ahead of time. The manager was probably looking to help Ortiz by just blaming the meat and figured that was the best thing for him, whereas Ortiz was maybe scared of getting in even more trouble (especially legal trouble, not being from the US and not wanting to jeopardize being able to compete here to earn money for his family) and decided to just go with "I don't know" instead even though it meant directly contradicting his manager.
I have horse meet on holiday to France. My French even badder than English. Taste okay but friend later told me what I eat. I also get told uk food had horse meat scandal in some food. Still a lot better than dog.
In Holland too. Never knew it wasn't legal in many countries and wonder why? Don't like it though. :barf
Because horses are so preeeeeeetty. If they sold the meat in supermarkets mothers would be unable to bring their little girls shopping with them without having to put up with uncontrollable weeping and hysterics.
well horsemeat in reality is no worse than beef. why did ortiz need drugs to beat ;lateef he could of beeten him with half of his abilty
