I think this is just a classic case of greedy promoters, advisors and managers putting their own interests ahead of the interests of the Boxers, the sport and its fans. Hearn is clearly trying to shoehorn his DAZN thing into the contract at a time where Wilder has commitments to another network. I also feel like he was willing to stall the fight to make sure it was at Wembley which always meant next year. He knew damn well the Canelo GGG fight was in the balance so you just dont pick the same date to consider a fight anyway, you stay well clear. Moaning about training camp lengths and all that too.

Finkel has been super shady since day 1. Not wanting to supply a contract, not wanting to tell Hearn or Joshua any of the important details in the contract but wanting them to accept it, then we get Finkel playing with the time over Hearns proposal at a time where he knew the WBA were breathing down Hearns neck. Also he made it very clear that he was going to be sending the contract back to Hearn with notes on it, his words, but in his last speech he said he told Hearn he was going to be sending back a signed contract and Hearn had just misunderstood, thats prob the biggest load of bollocks ive heard from the whole thing.

This fight is too big to just throw away too so this is guna happen next year, but the powers, the players, left the Boxers and the fans in the shade while they played out their little scenarios. Povetkin for AJ, Breazeale for Wilder and then they get a good 5 or 6 months to try iron out a deal thats best for the promoters and managers.

Eddie and Joshua don't want the fight because there is a likelihood that Wilder knocks Joshua out. Joshua would prefer to milk the cow than to get starched and humiliated in front of the world. This works well for Eddie because he can continue to milk the cow. None of this is hard to understand.

I trust Hearn about as much as I would trust an Irish traveler to come back the next day after handing him a 1,000 pound deposit, to tarmac by driveway.

    Hearn is a compulsive liar.

Wilder wants this fight badly but Hearn is doing his best to avoid it.

    Such as
Delaying getting back to him, not including the venue and date in the contract. Turning down 50 million USD.

    It’s obvious isn’t it?

And Compulsive liar Hearn can do as many interviews as he wants with soft ball IFL TV. It doesn’t change the facts.

He thinks there is high enough likelihood that Wilder sparks AJ and leaves him needing an oxygen mask- to not risk it. Therefore he is straight ducking the fight.

AJ himself wants the fight but doesn’t have the authority in his own camp to demand it is made.

although i don't think Hearn wants the fight, i think AJ was forcing him to make it and Wilder's team have messed about so much that they're now fighting Povetkin. It's Wilder's sides fault, an that's crystal clear for anyone to see

But you are guna wana know what you will be demanded to do for that 50 million. Anthony Joshua when getting the news about that offer said "LETS ROLL". Money accepted but they did not want to provide Anthony or Eddie with any other details. When they refuse to tell you what you are signing up to, you dont take the fight and if you havnt been given a contract to sign you cant sign a contract.

That is 100% not true. Hearn did an interview with IFL tv saying he had spoke to them about details. Some he was happy with, some not so much. Then he said it's up to AJ.

I don't even think AJ wants the fight. The prospect of getting KO'd, humiliated in front of the world isn't something that would appeal to Joshua. I knew the very moment he questioned US referees that Joshua was having doubts about the fight.

Hearn clearly stated that Wilder was the 2nd best Heavyweight with Povetkin 3rd or 4th so what are you on about?

Nope only proved the point that the small percent of people on here who claim ppv buys are low because there friends are not buying it are so so wrong.

This place had people claiming Bellew v Haye 2 had no buzz and it wouldn't sell anywhere near to the first fight.

The Hardcore boxing audience is not reflective on the wider audience who buy these fights.
